DT 175 MX Rear carrier/ rack
Rare as NEO However I managed to get myself one last year, mine is a 'Tower' products brand and dates back to the early 80's. I have only seen one other on ebay since I bought mine. DTMX's are popular in France so it might be worth a look on ebay or leboncoin on Francais

yamaha sr 125 over revving
You fitted a new throttle cable, perhaps you routed it badly, also check the end of the cable (the ferrules) are seated properly at the twistgrip and the carb,

wheels not aligned - twisted forks?
Are you sure the rear is aligned properly, the alignment marks can be a bit rough and ready, best way to check is with a long straight edge. There is a procedure for this I can scan and email you if you want. As a quick check you can sight along the chain line from the back of the bike if you remove the guard. If the stanchions are bent though they are unlikely to be that bad that a crease is evident. the only real test is complete disassembly and check them on a flat surface, not a job for the inexperienced. thats why you should be sure of the back end.

Nice one John, I didnt know you were restoring the DT, thought it was all good. The rims, where did you find those, are they Takasago ones?

YBR125 won't start
Have you regularly charged the battery over the lay off? Once a fortnight minimum I'd say, better still weekly. Dont be surprised though It can be a struggle to get the little blighters going again. Any hills near you, any mates to give you a push start and help push it home if it wont?

Dt175 electrics
a: Yes b: They are the front indicator earth returns, the ring goes on the stalk mounting behind the nut and washer c: is your brake light stuck on, try unplugging the front and back switches to eliminate, I would say most likely the back one first Have you got a manual with a wiring diag?
