The carb wont be ruined Kyle, it may need some attention...even a new part or so but its hardly the end of the world Meantime take out the plug tonight and leave it to stand...the longer the better. the excess fuel will evaporate. It's risky to continue riding it when it is awash with petrol like this because great quantities of unburnt fuel will be finding its way into the exhaust wich could be a fire / explosion risk. Tame your enthusiasm and leave it to stand is what I say

  3. Have you tried 'power bands' ? much cheaper than V Tech solenoids unless you get one from a scrapper

You should have airbox connected and filter insitu, choke ON and little or no throttle opening, set the mixture about 1 1/2 turns out at a guess...at least the plug should show signs of wetness even if it didnt start I think it's a fuel related issue Where is the reed inlet attached, barrel or direct to case?
  11. What about the choke, I dont know the bike or the carb but it wont start without a choke ? Edit you put your hand over intake of carb so is the airbox disconnected?, this may also upset matters greatly

    Yam filter may have been OK but as you say the jet is bigger than it should be...something to consider?
  16. Have you tried a new plug Kyle and does this bike have a PV?

  18. Did you not read what I said James?...they attach to the small coolant pipes from the cyliner head
  19. it'll do for now so You will see that the carb has two connections for the small coolant pipes from the cylinder head, and of course a connection for the fuel supply ...Paul
  20. I would be cautious with the DT100, I have seen ballast resistors and avalanche diodes fitted to these machines
