    be wary of downsizing the jet, ask yourself this...why did it burn a hole in the last piston? do plug chops to fine tune your carb jets, starting with the main jet #100 at wide open throttle

    does it have a fuel tap? try 'prime' position with a charged battery, if it fails again inspect a sparkplug...is it wet? good luck

  24. if its only the valve adjustment why cant you re-set them or have your mechanic do so? its no use looking at new engines just yet!
  25. so then with a 7 wire CDI you would normally have 4 wires to run, yet yours has only 3, I suspect you have a chassis ground wire missing here!...black label your 3 wires a,b, and c disconnect these wires and using the multimeter take resistance readings of these wires to an engine case screw and report back the readings
