RD 125 DX cast wheel - any tutorial for replacing steering head bearings?
Last time I had any input on this subject the chap had to bin the idea because the bearings were taller than the original ones so it wouldnt assemble right...worth bearing in mind... I have found one of these makes a good tool to help remove the races...a plugging chisel / mortar chisel

Hello! Yamaha YG5T (1968) Clutch Cable
some bikes turn the engine via the clutch you cant kick them with the clutch lever pulled. you need to give a little slack at the lever, my guess is you took up too much slack so now the clutch is disengaged, screw in the cable adjusters until you have just a little free play.
- dt running again.

Photobucket editing
I really like paint.net its free to download easy picture re-sizer arrows circles lines text not a problem...any line size any colour you like mostly i just use the cropping and re-size functions because you never need more than 800 pixels wide anyway...then upload it to photobucket or whatever other host you use

Hello! Yamaha YG5T (1968) Clutch Cable
I take it you used the adjusters to give only a small amount of slack in the cable? going to 1st from 2nd is often tricky, best have a properly warmed up engine before you delve too deep, and it's also easier with the bike in motion

XT 125 X front sprocket issue
well i'm surprised at that, it's no use fitting smaller bolts because the holes in the plate will be too big and it's risky..best get a refund and buy yamaha one then

Hello! Yamaha YG5T (1968) Clutch Cable
Screw in the aduster fully into the engine case Screw in the adjuster fully into the lever Fit the nipple into the operating lever (engine) Pull out the clutch lever pivot bolt and detach the lever Fit the cable through the lever adjuster screw slot Fit the nipple into the lever Fit the lever back into the perch and bolt it up again This is really the only way to do it, did you do it this way?
