Greetings Paul, It must be just the job for commuting with good power and fuel economy eh? as for the exhausts try regular painting with plasti kote BBQ paint from B&Q or Wilkinsons, you'll have to put the work in though!...a fenda extender is a good idea too

nahh dont be messing with your CDI, there are a few versions ( I think ending in 10, 20 or 30) and you may have one that isnt restricted...ask 'NEV'

the plates are stuck together, they will pull apart, why do you think they need replacing? as for the trying to free them, get the engine hot it may help

try opening the carb bowl drain screw (fuel tap ON) before you delve too deep taff just incase theres a drop of water in the bowl

yeah thats just because the oil is cold and causing drag on the clutch
