    Hiya I have the same problem with an RZ350 special. Yamaha UK will do it for £50 - that I refuse to pay. Someone said Yamaha Owners Club would do the same but I dont seem to be able to get a contact for them.

    Hiya Can anyone confirm a typical frame number for the RZ350 and provide a contact number where I might get a dating certificate for an unregistered bike? Mines an import and looks like 33E-014128 and Yamaha UK say that is an incomplete number. Thanks Motobiman

    Called Yamaha Motors UK. Yes they will issue a dating certificate - just send a cheque for £50.00. These people really do take the biscuit, still at least I get the cert but it does get my gander up when these peoplke are so happy to fleece their customers.
