Whew" dan, that's a grey area, it suck it and see really , I would fit a TTO temp sensor on the spark plug, so you know whats happening, I did , on my 400. its been a godsend, 500 degree F. is the terminal temp for 2 strokes, , if you get it about 300- 400. YOU KNOW YOUR SAFE,
