Ha noise " glad i wasn"t the only one to lose bits, thing is i ran that chain all last year, i only put a split link in coz i buffed the rivit link off to remove engine, and when puttting that split link on [temp], i thot " hate these things" .. yeh and it broke, the guy on pavement , seen it fly off, he was a biker, so we news"d untill another bike came along , Ducati multi strada, and it was my cousin , on brand new strada, it was gorgeous, in red, so was a social breakdown ,, . D.dt. you gat all them parts for Ts yet, , thers lots of 250C" models been on ebay lately,,,

Yip same engine style and carbs as the illiminator,[ ZL900] , you"v got pods on, easier to access carbs, what a bitch if the aibox is on , is the 750 with them pods on not a little hesident to take throttle when cold, ? also see when on side stand, and it rains, it floods that No1 cylinder plug hole, and miss fires, the camchain housing acts like a dam.[ pat remember u;llapool , ] after a night outside, mine was on 3 for 5 mls, bad design,,

Well blue sky & sunshine 11 degree"s = run on the H2 after rebuilding bottomend, new crank& 3rd gear & selector. success all is good , except 3 mls from home and chain flew off,[ split link] Any way was good to be out again, now to finnish the Ts250. The DT175 won"t be out till salt has been washed off roads,,

Hi bimbler " lots of XT fans on here, i"v ridden a KLE500 last summer , and thot it was the comfiest bike i"v ridden , good brakes just lacked grunt , some day i"l get a tenerie or XT,,,

Been there with the ZL900, carbs were a bitch to refit, [ hard rubbers] , i got a new ..old stock diaphram & slide for £40. [ebay] the fueling ,as you had them down already, shurly you cleaned them , i thinks you"v put one of the fuel pipes on to an overflow outlet, as they look similar, and are at the top side of cab also,,, another tip , ditch the coils and leads, and fit gpz 6r or ZX10 stick coils, this is a must on these old bangers,,

Aye trumpey" before you buy them , check cables / hoses for slack,,, i did my iliminator last year,,30mm .. was tight ish,, they had a back angle[ rizers] fouled opening fuel cap, unless bars were straight ahead, , so thers more than cables to watch for,,
