The float valves are same in most Mikuni carbs ,, I swapped a N,O,S ts Suzuki valve into the DTcarb,, both carbs were Mikuni v28"s.. -

Hi kirito " good wee bikes them, 2strokes, it was the states that outlawed 2 strokes in the 1970s, and jap manufactures swung to 4 strokes, its history now,, get roaded you"l love it,,

Brilliant, that's normal [ choke kills engine as it warms =floods] now back out the idle screw till revs drop, if they remain high , slacken throttle cable , .if this don't work , take out the slide,[ could be in wrong] ,,
