  3. 3 times!! Sounds liek theres something dfinitely wrong there. Is the paint and laquer they are using compatible? We sussed out that the problem with mine was BAD preparation before the painting was started.
  4. Hey Handai when you get a proper bike come and find us - till then - you carry on wanking son - its natural for pre-pubescent boys, you'll soon grow up........
  5. There's LOADS of them - usually go by the name of "Troll"

To be honest guys i wouldn't even bother with a reply to his trolling posts. Quite clearly he is out to wind you up - most of his other posts have been full of the same crap. Anyone who disrespects another members bike on a public forum is not a biker in my opinion - we all know its not the done thing - except those without an ounce of sense. Maybe when he grows up and is old enough to ride a "big bike" he may come to realise what being a biker is all about
  8. Welcome to the forum. Rightywhooo - 1 - What do you mean by a bit of a knock when started? Without actually hearing it i cant tell you if its normal! 2 - Mine a bit "clunky" when going into first gear, but im not overly worried 3 - Again - im not sure what you mean by whining gear box! I have a 650 Dragstar Classic 2004, and if you are anywhere near me you are welcome to bring it n over and we will have a look see if theres anythign untoward with it. You can also hear how mine sounds upon start up here - but it was started from warm, so if yours only knocks from cold you may not hear it?: LINKY LINKY

    XVS650 Handle Bars

Great stuff. I find on long journeys my shoulders are killing me lol And i tend to ache around that area for days afterwards! Just some nice "wraparound" type would do. I have a friend who is a fabricator who i am going to see on sunday about some other stuff for my bike - and i was going to ask him about making some for me - if he can do it ill see how much it is and let you know I have the classic

    XVS650 Handle Bars

I too want soemthing like this, as i feel a little "stretched" sometimes and want something a bit more laid back so to speak, and am looking into it right now. As soon as i know anythign worth telling you i shall let you know Is yours a Classic or Custom btw?
  14. The point IS...that with genuine Yamaha the quality will be 110% better! I SERIOUSLY would doubt the quality of that "armour", and i would not risk it. Spend a few extra pennies and get something decent. That link i gave you sells genuine kit for not much more than it will cost you for the chinese stuff after postage! And they put the Yamaha logos (and any other logos they like) on them cos they can - and as long as folk keep buyin 'em then they will keep selling 'em. Never EVER buy anything "designer" from china/asia cos its never ever the genuine article - specially not on evilbay!
  15. Its not a fake - its just not a genuine Yamaha product. The brand is Duhan - had it been made by Yamaha it would have said Genuine Yamaha If you want genuine try here: LINKY LINKY

    Unity III

We are finally in a position to announce that Unity rides again. This year Unity Ride promises to be the biggest charity motorcycle ride ever undertaken through the Capital. 15 members of the Metropolitan Police and 2 Paramedics will be assisted by 55 trained Unity Support Riders (USRs) to make sure this year’s event will also be the safest. Every year we give bikers a day out in London where the freedom of the city is ours, the Motorbike is king and we can enjoy the sights from a totally different perspective. No filtering through traffic and no stopping at all just a cruise with a 1000 or so other bikes enjoying Summer time in the Capital. The ride will take place on 17th August and will start from London Excel at 1.30pm with satellite rides in from: Box Hill - http://www.boxhill.co.uk/information/where.htm Ace Café - http://www.ace-cafe-london.com/Find-us.aspx Oakdene Café - Oakdene Cafe, London Rd, Wrotham TN15 7RR High Beech Tea Hut - Epping Forrest (both Tea Huts) Eastern Counties - Haverhill, Suffolk The West Country - Avon Heath Country Park Cafe Brocks Pine St Ives Luton - Hein Gerick London Excel - Docklands London, E16 1XL Satellite ride start times will be posted on the Unity website closer to the date of the ride. Please contact us for assistance if you wish to organise your own satellite ride in. This year’s route is extensive, and is available to view on the Unity website (www.unityride.co.uk) under the “where” link. Past historic monuments, down by the Thames and past the parks, just another excuse to ride and get pleasure on two wheels. The registration cost for joining the ride is the same as last year £5 and through your generosity last year we raised £3330 for Children in Need and Help a London Child. This year we are riding to raise funds for two charities - “Children in Need” and “SERV”. SERV (http://www.serv.org.uk/Home/Default.aspx) who are also know as the 'Blood Runners', is a charitable organisation that delivers blood products to the emergency and accident hospitals across Southern England at night free of charge whenever and wherever it's urgently needed. The service has saved many lives and is run by volunteers at their own expense, giving their time, petrol, cars and motorbikes to ensure blood supplies are available when needed. Children in Need is the children’s charity which is run by the BBC and their aim is to positively change the lives of disadvantaged children and young people in the UK This is our 3rd year of running the ride and which is a totally non profit making motorbike ride and all the funds raised through ticket sales go to charity. Everybody working on the ride has volunteered their time and commitment to raise money to make a difference and create a positive celebration of Motor biking in London. The Police are assisted by Unity Support Riders and they provide us with safe passage along the ride route and ensure that mass rideouts can be managed. We may have to limit the number of registrations this year, we therefore suggest that you register as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. This can be done by following the links on the Unity homepage. http://unity2.unityride.co.uk/ T-shirts for this year’s ride will be sold on the day at a cost of £10 per t-shirt but there are only 500 available. If you wish to pre-order your t-shirt for delivery before the ride, please contact us at [email protected]. We have a much larger area at Excel this year, and so are in a position to offer space to biker clubs and charitable organizations so that they might promote their causes. Please contact us with your suggestions so that we might ask them to contribute to Unity III, this must be done by 17th July so that we are able to plan our Biker Village. Welcome to Unity III http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/England...don/4170524.stm http://www.motorcyclenews.com/MCN/News/new...amp;R=EPI-97686 ) http://www.unityride.co.uk
