What exactly is the fault code you're seeing?

Aaah! Yes, but the rain is warmer down there, you should try it up here in Gods Country!

Still doesn't explain the nearly 2mm gap on the old plugs! lol Bike works! Get out there (this is what rain gear is for)!

Those sound right offhand. So I've heard, I've not done it yet lol. Stupid question, you did check the gaps on the new plugs before you put them in, didn't you?

The Thunderace will take two different plugs (they're listed in the manual). If you don't have a Haynes Manual, say so, I'll dig mine out...

My poor bike is suffering...
Well, the red grease SHOULD be there anyway. That's what the pistons should be greased with anyway. The brake callipers aren't a problem for me, I bought a second set, so I can just swap them out when they need maintenance and do them at my leisure...

Yamaha xj600
Well, that's not good, I'm assuming the engine hasn't ingested it? All I know about the Thunderace Carbs is that the emulsion tube isn't replaceable... NOT that I know what an emulsion tube is...

Recommandation
Wemoto are good, and if you're having problems, they're very hapy to take phone calls. P.S. Recommendation...

I saw those, but it says they're for threaded terminals, I'm pretty sure the Ace doesn't use threaded plugs.

I too am a little shocked, spark plug caps are not something I've had problems with on my Thunderace so far. You may have to bite the bullet, after a cursory search, this is all I've found..: YAMAHA YZF 1000 THUNDERACE 4SV 96-03 - IGNITION COIL CAP PLUG CAP - ONLY 3 | eBay

1981 XT 250 overcharging
Yeah... 40V doesn't sound right at all! I have no idea how to fix the problem or even what the problem is, but you could always try to suck up some of that power by slapping a load of xenon headlamps on the front like a 1970s Mod Lambretta..! 🛵 Other than that, I'm sure someone else will have a better idea!

Hi everyone
Nice, clean, simple chop. Old school, I like it!

YR5 running problem
Even if the battery died, wouldn't it continue to run on the alternator?
-
YZF750R no exup valve
I've got an ART can on the 'Ace currently! 😀 The answer is definitely the pipes. And getting rid of those original headers will only help your power to weight... Just make sure that you have the same clearance to your fairings. Paying out for a good quality pipe will make all the difference.

Carbs are magic items beyond the ken of myself... But I'm sure there's plenty of others in here that know about them lol
