A Red Light Jumping cyclist video of mine has went semi-viral O_O
I don't think I'm famous. Probably for the best (: But I really didn't expect a 30 second video clip to explode in views. Hell, my next highest video has only a couple of hundred! I've even had a few requests from clip shows to ask if they can use it [i've declined out of niceness for the idiot]

A Red Light Jumping cyclist video of mine has went semi-viral O_O
I'm now imagining if this had been in Glasgow, rather than Manchester. I could see the cyclist getting up and trying to 'square go' the bus... "Ye 'hink yer 'ard do ye? Ah'll 'ave ye! Square go, pal. Square fuckin' go!"

A Red Light Jumping cyclist video of mine has went semi-viral O_O
So, this video has went viral: Not "OMG! Millions of views!" viral, but 30k views [at current count] for a 30 second clip that I posted on Monday night is rather impressive to me. According to the Facebook graph API, it's been shared over 300 times Mood is currently: WAT?

No chance! And no ABS on it either...

Mt07 or hornet?
Just checking which you mean: XJ6 is inline 4, MT-07 is inline twin [as opposed to V-twin]. Also, the XJ6 definitely comes in a naked version too, which also can have ABS. I am with you on naked vs faired, as you can see from my bike: [i really disliked the look of the Divi version]

Mt07 or hornet?
There is an ABS option for the XJ6...

Lightmode helmet kit (Tron mode activate)
I don't think we could use it. However, I've sent off an email to Ask The Police, to get a proper answer

any TV engineers on here?
.. have you tried turning it off and back on again? Is it using SCART, HDMI or composite for the connection? I'd guess HDMI... Is it affecting all connected sources to the TV? [DVD, Sky, Freeview, whatever?] And are they all fed through the same cable(s)?

Long weekend in Scotland soon!
I am now having nightmares of what could happen to your todger [not your todger, but the generic 'you'] should you come off a bike while wearing a kilt

Bank holiday weekend
heading out early is at odds with my "lazy bastard" personality (: Getting back home was worse, as I got stuck behind someone doing 30mph around all the bends and then accelerating to 50mph on the straights. I hate those gits. Even when I was a cager.

Bank holiday weekend
I actually had a trip out over Snake Pass on Monday visting The [ex-]Housemate in Sheffield [first time in that direction! ] It was a bit packed - mainly of cars - so I can see why you'd get bored of it. Highlights included a car just in front deciding to emergency stop at the start of a straight stretch for no discernable reason what-so-ever. Probably a squirrel...

XJ6 Diversion Coolant
If you wanted to go the yamalube route, you could drain it first [how? dunno, but typically possible. Although, I should learn since I'm on an XJ6...] With anything regarding bikes, if you're uncertain about something, it could be just as well to actually do it. Mainly because of the individual peace of mind it will give. But if you're not having any temperature issues, I'd say there's not any explicit hurry. The dash will tell you if it's at "SHIT SHIT SHIT! Need coolant!!!" levels. For comparison, I've yet to exceed 100C on mine [which is acceptable], and when riding, it's normally ~85C after the engine's warmed up.

XVS950 or 1300 advice
It actually doesn't take too long to get used to it. I honestly barely use the power range of mine; but it's there if I need it. The 'issue' is that you're used to the lack of power of a 125, and the need to crack that throttle fully open to get anywhere. Once you're used to only needing more subtle wrist movements, ~70bhp becomes far easier to handle. Now, the power of a Ninja H2 would terrify me.

XVS950 or 1300 advice
Checking the specs of the 2014 model, power-wise, it's on par with the gladius for 'grunt' [72 vs 71]. However, it is also ~50% heavier. But then, cruisers aren't built for acceleration and the like. They're made for a comfortable [and bad ass] looking ride. However, I've never ridden a cruiser to compare how the power is different, so will need to defer to the more experienced chaps here. And I remember that feeling of jumping back on my 125 after my DAS training. Wondering where all the power had gone... I went on my YBR125 at the weekend, to keep the battery charged, and found I was now revving it a lot harder than I used to

XVS950 or 1300 advice
I had a sit down on one at the Manchester Bike Show recently. So comfortable! Slap some bar risers on it, for my stumpy arms, and it may be my next bike in a couple of years.

ingeniouis design of the can
Up until about Friday, the weather was reporting as crap - this was on metoffice and whatever google uses. I think they must employ Michael Fish... Friday was reporting that it was due to start pissing it down from 3pm... until 3pm hit, and no rain came. And the weather report changed. ¬_¬

ingeniouis design of the can
I'd ended up making plans around it being crap weather, so was indoors for most of it. I did find an excuse to get out briefly though.

I remember when the tab changes were introduced over here. Man, the amount of bitching people made. Some even claiming it affected the taste. My dad was one of them. He still rips the tab off to this day "out of protest"...

You know it's going to be one of those days...
Why can I just picture [and hear] in my head what this particular person would be like? I wonder how accurate it is...
