Agreed I saw the footage a few days ago it made me feel a little sick..
  2. You're after an instructors bike for CBT training so CC doesn't matter. Look at a Suzuki RF600, they seem reliable and according to a few connections they're comfy. Full fairing will give you protection from the weather, they're quite light good low down grunt as you won't be topping 30mph anyway.. If that's not your cup of tea a ZZR would do the job well too. Other than that a CB 5/600 would also be a good recommendation.

Nope I wasn't scraping my pegs lol, brand new bike still breaking it in so have been taking it easy...... Well sort of anyway! Yeah I thought Ohh shit here we go this is going to hurt, tensed up shut the throttle, dropped a gear and gently rode the back brake trying to scrub some speed. Yes I was looking at the hedge line... Well tree and pilon line.... Looked like a gentle sweeper.... Turned out it wasn't. In hind sight don't play whacky racers on l plates on a road you don't know, pick your lines wisely and last but not least relax and stamp on the pegs if it starts to look like you over cooked if lol. In the heat of the moment I'll admit I was fixed on the tree branch I took out.... The upside is I saved the local council a job cutting it down....

I'm glad my bike wasn't damaged!! Never mind myself lol... NHS pays for me to be fixed I have to pay the first 2 grand to get my baby fixed!!! Lol.... I think 30 sounds like a nice speed right now

Nah it's near kings Lynn... Just shows if you ride like a tool especially on a road you don't know it's going to hurt.

Ok I need a new pair of pants... Let me set the scene.... I was on a ride with the family, heading back from the ship Inn... Travelling at about 55mph through a national speed limmit and heading to a corner (didn't know the road so went in nice and gentle.... At least that's what I thought) Well to cut a long story short, the corner tightened rapidly and I found myself doing off roading on the grass verge after having failed to get the bike leant over, gently on the back break, took a tree branch down (which fuddy hurt) somehow stayed on the bike and recovered... Stopped and checked the bike and no damage done...... Just my pride and pants..... Never have I thought S*** that's it!!! With alarms going off in my head screaming this is not going to end well... I have decided I'm off to church sundays as miracles do happen.... Note to self don't ride like a tool.

Im willing to travel for a good one.

So I bought my brand new 2014 YZF-R125 now the first couple hundred miles have been great and smooth, but recently the gearbox has refused to go into third... It's not jumping it just won't go in.... I'm not sure if it's something I'm doing wrong or if there's a problem. It gears up and down fine in every gear apart from 2nd into 3rd. Any suggestions would be welcome.

Question time then... My bike has bare metal pegs both rider and pillion, so my question would be how that works?? I'm aware that if the rubbers are perished on rubber mounted pegs its an mot failure didn't know about the rest though.
  14. Nope the HUD (heads up display) would distract me.

I don't like overly loud pipes if I'm being honest they have to have a certain tone to them though, especially on singles and twins. I like my exhaust to give a raspy growl rather than a loud drone... On the other hand though I would like my YZFR 125 to sound abit less like a wet fart in a bathtub! Harleys sound rediculous every time I hear one I think it's a broken heavy earth mover with exception to the V rod muscle. Love the sound of the Ducatis though they sound menacing even with the stock pipes.
  16. Hello everyone my names Kev, just bought my first bike (my lovely YZF-R125 which I'm still running in what a pain in the backside that is lol) Thought I ought to pop in and say hello really.
