My CG's named "The Silver Bullet" , don't you just love the irony , lol .
  3. Hi Ike , great thread , nice work .
  4. I'd take the old sprocket to somewhere who supplies them for motocrossers , they should be able to match something up for you .
  5. I've been that guy since he bought his first bike , lol ..
  6. IT LIVES !!! Got the engine in and fired up . And , you could've knocked me down with a feather but , the Varadero 18 in rear wheel and disc went straight on . The brake fits the disc , just needs a coupla washers .
  7. Haha , I was going to say that ! Sounds about right , lol .
  8. No man , I've never seen a 6v bike run a headlight from the battery . As far as I remember the DT has to be fired up to run the headlight , and the headlight is shite , that's normal .
  9. You'll have to "break" the tyre bead off the rim all the way round . I lay the wheel flat on the floor and place a garden spade on the tyre close to the rim . A quick jump on the spade will loosen the bead and let you get to work with the levers . Be careful if discs are fitted , best to remove them first .
  10. Check your connections , sounds like a loose connection or broken wire . Check the fuse(s) too .
  11. If the oil light stays on in gear, then it's a problem . As above it comes on in neutral to show the bulb is working . They don't call 'em "idiot lights" for nothing , lol, best giraffe I had all day !!
  12. Sounds like loose or corroded battery terminals to me .
  13. Get some proper tyre levers . They're reasonably priced and will last a lifetime .
  14. Yeah , don't ask to bum a fag over the pond . You might get a black eye !.
  15. I always assume that ALL car drivers are deaf , blind and stupid . But I applaud the ones who prove me wrong .
  16. Oh wow !! Congratulations ! When she gets some teeth she can open beers for her old Grandad .
  17. Will you put a front mudguard on 'er Noise ? It might help keep all that lovely paint in good order . And it's no fun riding in the wet without one ,
  18. Hi there , Welcome . Lovely bike , you really should get a better helmet though . lol.
  19. Looks like another one hit wonder who doesn't appreciate good advice . Tch!!
  20. Also very useful for those who can't grow proper Guy Martin style bugger grips .
  21. I daren't show him that in case it's just what he wants .
