dtr creamy oil
hi all not been on for a bit been working away. my dtr is running now as per my last post. wen i first got it the oil was creamy color so ive done a full rebuild and changed all seals and gaskets. i went for a ride out yesterday and come home to no coolant. ive undone the oil fill cap and notice creamy colored oil on the clutch so ive undone the oil drain plug to find its full with contaminated oil and the rest of my coolant. before i did the rebuild i did just replace the pump seal and then it was still the same this is wen iv done the rebuild so its had two water pump seals both were genuine thanks in advance guys

dtr no idle
hi all thankz for all the help so far peepz much appreciated. well i took her out for a spin and she cut out on me i noticed the idle screw has fell out some where. ive replaced it off my old carb she starts and runs ok except at low rpm she bogs out and she wont idle for shxt. any help will be great please!!

simple horn curcuit
Well I've got my DTR running its only having a day not so no lights etc. I do need a horn but don't have a clue where to start. If any 1 has the knowledge is appreciate any input PLEASE not is due and booked for wendsdaythis week ahhhhhhh lol

well today i found a old pair of slippers and thought id try kicking the dt and 1st bang sprang to life lol. thease are cheap asda slippers i dont know how they started it but they did ha ha buzzins under stated

well got all the fuel out of the crank cases and put it all back together and still only back firing. fuels getting to the cylinder theres a spark but still just bang!!!! wen ive seen a spark its not a clicky sort if ya know what i mean like u can hear but its there in sight theres was a blue and yellow wire going fro my cdi to nothing wen i connected it to the other blue+blue/white from the fly wheel and earthed the plug i could hear the spark aswell as see it. not had time to ty and start it since i connected that wire gonna try tomoz. does any 1 know if this sounds ok ?????

i tryed blowing wih out the needle and it passes ok soon as the needles in blocks again. how or can the height be adjusted ????

as above ve now replaced my needle float valve on my dtr but wen i blow down the fuel inlet theres no air coming through i had the idea that it should have some air coming then wen i lift the floats it will stop ????

General dtr question
Im in need of a needle valve seat for my carb but a few places want 50 for it how ever i ve found a float valve kit on yambits g For a lot cheaper id get the needle that conecta yhe to the float and the thing the needle goes into also a o ring my question is are theaae the same thing Sent from my GT-S5360 using Tapatalk 2

1st off just a lil thanks to all the members who have helped me so and thankz on advance for future solutions. Ive changed my front caliper kept the same pipe from the lever. The problemo im having os the levers gone solid. Tryed to bleed it bit no joy. Any ideaz fellaz and galz >_>:lol: Sent from my GT-S5360 using Tapatalk 2

base gasket seems fine all where replaced wen the rebuild was done. i put a full jerry can of petrol in the tank last week and wen i was working on the bike yesterday there was hardly any juice left in the tank its sef but the cranks pxxs wet througth

wen it was running i did yeah. but its had a full rebuild since then and aint been run since thats the problem. ive got spark the plug wet but it wont run for shxt lol. wheres the best place to get a genuine gasket the 1 i got from yambits was part of a full set ???????? iappreciate your help mate

i got my gasket kit from yambits a few months ago. ive skimmed he head and cylinder as nev perscribed excellent way to see lol. this bikes not for starting at all ive taken the head off again now theres only water on top of the gasket nothing underneath tho????. the bottom of the crank case are full of liquid looks like oily water or may be petrol and oil.

right so ive been having issues with my dt not starting. Ive now removed the head to check the piston etc to find theres water under the head gasket and also in the crank case. The water is along the top of the cylinder my question is the heads surpose to hve been skimmed but obvious its still warped some where so i need to know how i can tell where needs to be skimmed to level it then i can wet and dry on the glass to level it all off ????????

hi all im interested in changing my carb from a flat slide to a circle 1. im asking if any 1 has done this also what size will i need etc the main reason for this is i cant find a repair it for but i can find a load for the circle type thanks in advance p.s or if any 1 knows what other bikes use the same carbs

ive had the stator off twice and just put it back where the holes lined up for the bolts i think the timings set with the eletronics and wen ive rebuilt it the balancer cog and the other 1 both have woodruff keys on so they can only be lined up 1 way arrrgggghhhhhhhh
