Whoa it looks like a bike now!

After reading through the TOTW and learning more concepts that I even knew existed I feel so much more in control already on the bike and I've only just begun to put the theories into practice. Not even pushing my limits at all I'm already able to ride harder, cleaner, and safer than I did at any point last year (in the few months I was riding! lol) Anyway, enjoy the video from today... sorry about the shakiness.

Took a little trip around town and some back country roads here and then stopped at the beach for a couple photos... I'm getting excited about the approaching riding season seeing as how it's going to be my first full season ever!! Can't wait to feel some WARM weather though! Ice and snow is still abundant...but the roads were fairly clear at least. Sand and salt everywhere but I already feel so much more confident after reading that Twist II book that it's like a night and day difference from when I started riding last year. Buy resistors and put them in-line (parallel) at each light, and this will fix your fast flash. You can find 25w load resistors for around $1-$2 on ebay. Btw you have hand signals as backups too, you don't even need lit up signals here in Ontario.

lol no problem! That's exactly why I posted so many pictures along the way... for my reference when I went back, and to help anyone else who needed it! The timing marks are on the cams themselves, NOT the sprocket (which I originally thought because they had marks on them too) so when you reinstall at TDC make sure the cam timing marks are directly up! I ended up swapping shims back and forth between a few engines and didn't need to buy any, I got lucky. If you do need some specific sizes let me know because I have a bunch of extra ones. You'll need a feeler gauge to do this so go pick up one if you haven't already got one.

Although I'm not in the UK... I have a CB radio in my truck, and I don't use it. I find cell phones have almost made them obsolete, unless you're into talking to lonely truckers on long hauls... (or lorry drivers as you call em )

Haha no worries man I knew you'd see it all eventually. I will have to bring it by so you can see it in person and so I can see your build! I keep telling the wife it'll be her hand-me-down and she says no but with a smile... so I think I can still convince her. Not for a few more years but it will happen.... may have to paint it pink though.

Yeah man, back in Stoney Creek April 1st, - got our house till the 11th though so we have time to move everything over. Just a small one car garage that I've already claimed, and the wife accepts that. She's a good girl. lol
