  1. I may be on L plates but at least I ain't got a fucking Kia!!
  2. Pretty much A1 - except where it turns into A1(m). Still got 'L' plates! Not sure yet what time I'm leaving but Grantham sounds like a good meeting point - as long as you don't mind keeping around 50-55!!
  3. Yeah but on the plus side its about 3 1/2 hours on the bike! And if it turns out you're not messing at least my arse will be numb!!!
  4. I was thinking 'Thats alright mama' but I'll google the honeycombs later!
  5. No need for Bippo to be disappointed - my favourite song was always 3 in a bed!!
  6. Nearly stood a chance before you said that - I always have the right!
  7. I'm coming from Duxford, cambs so sorry mate, no bringing up the rear!!
  8. Cool! I've got 150 ish miles assuming I don't get lost at 50-55mph so definitely won't be first there! All looking good though assuming the wife still allows me out to play!!
  9. At the risk of dragging this back to topic, what time does everyone normally get there for?
  10. There's someone on here selling a second hand knuckleduster - do I need to protect myself??
  11. Aaaaargh! Or, in the words of somebody famous, "time to break out them class a's!!
  12. Eeeew! Dude, you're 100 yrs old! Looks like I'll be sleeping with one eye open!
  13. Ain't that the truth! Lost my mum to mrsa 16 years ago and she never gave up on her sense of humour. Still see people in hospital not bothering to wash hands etc.
  14. It looks like I may be able to make it after all - the double celebration is in November!!! What time is best to get up there on the Friday? Also, do I need to book a pitch? Obviously it all hinges on she who must be obeyed not changing her mind, but .... bring on the 180 odd miles of where the hell does this B road go?!!
  15. And I've just read the rest of the thread - from memory there will be 2 small adjuster screws for fine tuning of the gears at the rear cantilever which moves the chain up and down the 9 sprockets
  16. Lol! I had one of them about 20 years ago!!!! If its Shimano type gears then its most likely to be the slip bearing thing in the rear hub. Probably easier and quicker to get a new rear wheel.
  17. Tried a few up and down today found it quite easy - smoother going up! Can't believe the difference it made on acceleration even on my old 125! Not sure about starting off though in first if I were to lose my clutch and I didn't manage to engage neutral at all. At least I know I can do this and I should be able to get home without killing anyone
  18. Never mind the industrial Dyson - shouldn't she have popped that boil before having the video done???
  19. Ps sorry for continuing to hijack your post DT! Hope the exams went well?
