    Another one hit wonder
  2. Ten days suspended and 150 hours community service. That's why drivers don't give a toss about hitting bikes. He's probably more upset about the cost of repairing his car.

I'm confused. I've always had that reaction to my feet being touched, even before I started Karate. To the point that, as a kid, I couldn't walk barefoot on Brighton beach cos I couldn't stand the touch of the pebbles

I've trained in Karate for nearly 25 years.

Don't know hiw much the engine's changed in 32 years but my TR1 is a 980cc V-Twin that I believe went into the XV and XVS models. This 32 year old engine will pull me along the road at tick over revs in 2nd gear happily. 0 -30 is just a slight flick of the wrist in 1st and, although she complained like a bitch, she pulled away at a roundabout in 3rd when I forgot to change down (OK I know I'm a pillock but it only happened once).

If I was that easily offended I'd either be a basket case or a murderer by now. I'm the youngest of seven kids in my family. I grew a thick skin by the age of two. And I'm in the rage/uncontrollable kick catagory.

OK so we know what bike you have. And we can deduce that we'll probably be seeing you in the Workshop section. How about telling us a bit about yourself?
  8. Rubber room for two then

Came back to my bike the other day and found this parked next to it. Is that the look you're after?
  10. You are, without question or doubt, the strangest man I've never met.

First you tell me to trade in my pride & joy then you suggest I have deformed feet. I could become offensive... I mean offended.

I don't even bother with the repair kit. I have breakdown cover with my insurance. I've only ever had one puncture.

I'll tell her you said that.

If you can't see a fuel gauge on the clocks, chances are it doesn't have one. I've only ever had one bike with a fuel gauge and not having one has never been a problem. Find out how far you can go from full to reserve using the trip meter and reset it every time you fill up.

    Starter motor or CDI fault?
