Think it's the coldest morning so far this winter, just arrived home from work. Luckily I've borrowed a nice toasty Furygan jacket from my old man, kinda as payment for storing his bike for the winter! Thought I'd just say I hope everyone's safe out there this morning!

Sorry to hear about your bike mate, but glad you're ok! Your description of your street sounds identical to mine, maybe you live next door? Haha. Hope all turns out ok with your bike!!!

  6. Check out this item I found on eBay: http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=400572874270 I used this in mine, works fine.
  7. Is there any leakage past the PV? I don't think it should move like that!

Don't see why you can't use a second hand motor, other than the fact it might pack up the same as your original one and it won't have any guarantee or warranty. However 250 sterling is a lot of money! As for the battery, you might be able to recover it with a trickle charger, but those set you back about the same amount as a battery!

Luke do you still need these pictures mate? Sorry for the delay I've been struggling with work and the weather as well. Sounds like you've worked it out from the manual but if you still need them let me know

Luke I've got the x model, 2007. So exactly the same pump as yours, really easy to set up, I'll take some pics of mine and of the procedure in my Haynes manual tomorrow morning

John, just wondering how you're finding the polisport headlight? Need to change the one on my dt and considering getting one. What are they like compared to the stock lamp on your xt?

  18. Well I can hear mine and feel the flow through pipes so I guess you should be able to! Trying to think of something else on that side of the bike you could've damaged! :S
  19. Is the water pump running? You should be able to hear it up close or feel the vibration. Also is the radiator damaged?
  20. Why don't you bungee a ghetto blaster to your rear rack? Buy yourself some cassettes and your off!
  21. Good choice! Daihatsu fourtrak would be decent too, not so much room in the back though
  22. also I think it's because a lot of vans get broken into under the assumption there's tools etc in there.

  24. Yeah there must be some calcs that I could use to work it out. I'm gonna take the shock off at the weekend and have a measure up, and check that it's definitely that that's leaking. Then see where I can go from there!
