My guess is the pair of wires you mention should run up to the battery. Stator connection is usually 3 wires (high voltage) then 2 for the battery. Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

From doing some googling, definitely appears to be for carb warming. You could disconnect both and blank them off. Unless you live in Alaska I can't see carb icing being a problem. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
