    I do have fully comp but they said I can't ride any other bike don't seem right to I thought I would be covered to ride another bike asking as I had permission and they were insured also

    Picked up my DT from the bike shop after finding out it was the float bowl needle was worn and now instead of a 50 mph shutdown it's flying upto 70 mph I've got a new lease of life ) Sparky67

    Well done bippo so CBT then theory when you pass the mod 1 what can you ride a 125cc still until you pass the mod 2 and that must be done within 2 years of mod1 is this correct

It`s been many years sine i used a feeler gauge defiantly says 0.7-0.8 mm in the yammy bible and its a new feeler gauge even the imperial was the same also,she went a bit better still lost power at about 55mph but not as bad as previous recent outings might get the carb cleaned what u reckon cheers sparky67

Hi all i bought a new spark plug for my DT the yamaha bible say the gap should be 0.7 - 0.8 but when i got the feeler gauge out it looks very very thin.Would the NGK BR8ES be pre gapped cause that is a lot bigger gap roughly the same size as the old one i took out. Should i gap it to the bible or would that be to smaller gap can anyone help on this one many thanks sparky67

  15. Cheers cynic that's exactly what happened it cleared and seems fine now I've ordered a new spark plug and feeler gauge. But can you tell me if I reach my top end at 60mph will the restriction make the engine loose power temporarily

    Hi i`ve got a little tool pouch which come with the bike located beside the battery don't look like there's much in it i`m to scared to take it out in case i cant get it back in lol,they do racks which fit at the rear of the DT`s above the rear mudguard just behind the seat, sparky67

    My DT 125 RE electric start does 5 seconds first try and another 5 seconds and starts on the choke cold,choke for 5 minutes and choke off. When warm it starts first time no choke I love it to death apart from losing power everynow again and now sparks coming from exhaust for a short period Sparky67

Hi all went for a good hours ride last night I've all ready changed my air filter after a loss of power at 60 mph couple of weeks ago but tonight I lost power temporary and sparks were coming from exhaust.I pulled over bike idling ok give it a few revs and it seemed to clear and bike rode alright again the rear Dep back box is oldish not had the bike to long haven't checked spark plug at all could,any ideas plz sparky67

    Hi all I'm getting a loudish squeak on my front brake disc it's fine when I slow down in there's properly but when coming to a quicker stop it squeaks any ideas please.
