I managed to get out today for a couple of hours, popped in to JnS in Oakmere, big place and has a good cafe too, also managed to run out of fuel, luckily I was up hill from a petrol station so manage to just coast down and roll onto the forecourt I think I put the internal fuel filter on the wrong way round last time cleaned it as reserve didn't work

yes the motor is used as part of the frame there is no down tube's It's dohc and has rear mono shock suspension and has 45 hp up from I think 33 hp for the sohc so can shift, not quite as fast as an the rd350lc but I've never been left behind and goe's nearly twice as far on a tank of fuel.

just about any 2 stroke commands top money now, really hard to find a bargain, if you had a shed full 2ts no matter the condition your laughing. Best not to restore them though as you won't get the money back, sad but true

all sorted put it back together fri night, went out over the weekend all seems OK, rechecked steering for play and tightness all good think I just over reacted, thought I'd fucked it up just before my trip.
