Hi & welcome to YOC
-
could be your choke is sticking on, could be a lot of things try new plugs check the timing, points etc I always had trouble with the points on mine, do you have an inline fuel filter if not your carbs may need cleaning again! edit oh have you checked the vacuum pipe from tank to carb for splits and that the carbs are fitted correctly

I'd go for something like this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Tech-7-Black-Expandable-Throw-Over-Panniers-Saddlebags-Motorcycle-Luggage-/131310977111?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item1e92be8057put your stuff in bin liners first so it stays dry bargain at £40 and you have them for future use, I use mine at least once a year edit might also be worth a look but ending soon http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/OXFORD-HUMPBACK-SOFT-PANNIERS-/161700784982?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item25a61e2b56

I get my bike MOT in spring each year and had an advisory a couple of times on a fork seal starting to weep but it's not! It's WD40 I spray on the fork legs when I store my bike over the winter.

The tartan is Stewart hunting tartan I thought I might as well go with the family name but the only other Stewart tartan they had was the Royal Stewart and that was a bit to garish for me and as I keep telling everyone the socks were cream I didn't won't black as I thought they looked like wellies on the pics
