Basic motorcycle re-wiring
hi Joe sorry I can't help with this as I haven't any experience with daylight running, you could have a look on http://xs400.com/ as they are the same bike basically apart from the bore.

what interests you about biking?
mine have changed over the years, when I first started riding it was just the total buzz of riding, then sooner or later you have to start looking after it and repairing it, there's a great satisfaction to fixing your bike yourself . knowing you can do it and saving your dosh. now its just everything about bike's, my real passion is 70s/80s bikes as it takes me back, when you see a model that one of your mates had or one you've owned yourself. I like the social side of biking, meeting new people and helping each other looking forward to tt, squire's, & foamy's run also plan a trip to Oban Scotland this summer just as my profile says all things Bike.

Foamy's run, Bristol half marathon 19/9/13
thought a rideout to this event is worth a mention, don't even know if I can make it myself yet as its on a Thursday, but would love to be there and will do my best to arrange my work schedule around it. haven't got any details at moment of event or time but I'm sure foamy will fill in the blanks could be a fantastic day out for a good cause, see thread run foamy run for details and how to donate I know we have YOC members in and around the Bristol area, it would be great to meet up and support foamy on his run. come on guys & guy'ses support foamy's run

6 months road tax has this been taken from us now ?
last year I had the option of both, not really concerned about it as its only £34 for year and I don't put mine away for winter anyway just use it less just wondered if it had posed a problem for any of the summer biker's out there ?
-
6 months road tax has this been taken from us now ?
I noticed this year when my road tax renewal came, it did not give me the option of 6 months only 12! I assume this is to stop people taxing for the summer and putting on a sorn for the winter and so dodge the new insurance rules ?

have you got a standard front end on it ? I'm no expert should ask other sr owners if they have same problem, foamy might know!

SR125 rear suspension adjustment?
if I were you I would try it on different setting and see how it feels, wouldn't go to softest setting, I think that one is for 7 stone weaklings haha
