  1. Sorry Airhead, you are wrong and DT is right. The +ve feed to the brake lamp is only live when the lever is pulled/pedal depressed. This would result in the grips only working when the brakes are on. The easiest way to do this mod is to connect into the TAIL light circuit, the wires are easier to get at than the ignition wires. This means that the grips will work when the sidelights or headlights are on.
  2. Apart from the obvious, Speed Camera vans HAVE to be marked up by law for them to have any chance of standing up in court. Anyone who gets a ticket from this one have the Police by the bollocks.

  4. K550s are off-road tyres. They are not designed for primarily tarmac commuting. If he's only using it on the road, I'd suggest looking at some proper road tread tyres.
  5. I much prefer to be wet and warm than dry and cold. There's nothing worse than loosing the feeling in your fingers in sub-zero temperatures. It makes brake and clutch control rather hazardous.
  6. Hi all, I'm Steve from Blackburn. I've not long sold my last race bike (FZR400 3TJ) and I'm now looking for another FZR, 600 or thou, to make the step up from F400.
