no messing you're getting some good progress done. I'm sure an engine will turn up, just keep an eye out. i do check ebay every now and again. At this rate you'll be good to go for the summer and happy to see that there are lots of pictures too!!

scary stuff! like you said, he is very lucky to have not fucked himself up badly. imagine he was on something like your WRF, he'd have been going a damn sight quicker... things may have ended very badly.

what tyres are you running at the moment?

ohhh fucking hell, i misread most of it's life off road- for most of it's life on road lol. In that case go for the enduro tyres like cynic said. But if you do ride a fair amount then you will be changing tyres quite often. The less aggressive the tyre- USUALLY the longer it will last.

even if it spends just half its time on the road , you should avoid knobblies as they won't last long at all. I had an AC10 on the rear of my bike and that lasted all of about 300-350 miles before the center was pretty much bald (yes it is more powerful then the DT but i can imagine they wont last all that long even on a 125 (especially if you are riding mostly on the road) I would recommend you get some half 'n' halfs (trail type tyres) . When i get a chance i'll have a look whats on the DR- they are more the road type, rather then full knobblies.

If that's the bike you have your heart set on.....go for it. But it really is a race bike-...... i love my husky to bits but oil changes are every 5 hours of use! from what i can gather the yz is about every 10 hours use? BUT the main thing is....are you riding on L-plates? If so then i suspect the YZ is over the power limit, so you will need a license i think.

i think you're right that he pulled out on him....but it sure does sound like he is going a wee bit quicker then the speed limit (assuming it's not 60mph bit of road) Lifted that ton and a half of car a fair bit off the ground

ahh sorry, i meant that it was lucky the chain didn't bounce off the sprocket whilst on the muddy stuff. What damage have they done mate? and will they be paying for it? i'm guessing the bars are fucked?
