  1. Decided to start with the 'blowing' exhaust
  2. I've been handed a 900 diversion to fix after it's been hit by a car.. Gonna post my progress. Enjoy
  3. What else do you guys get up to when not motorbiking? Here's what i do
  4. It has lost performance as 2 strokes rely on the exhaust back pressure to 'suck' the exhaust gas out of the combustion chamber as they dont have valves and a 'forth stroke' to force any gases out like a 4T engine. The best thing to do like Cynic said is to replace it as the damage might be worse than just a hole on the outside, but actual damage to the inside... Thus making it louder and perform worse than normal.
  5. My idle speed was all over the place! I've sorted all the idle speed/mixture out, you may need to adjust your cam timing, that helped mine loads! And its pretty easy to do just takes a bit of time and a couple of tools.
  6. Thought i'd share this with you guys she sounds amazing!
  7. aha it's been resprayed a couple of times, i'm rather fond of it! you should hear the thing!
  8. Just thought i'd let you chaps (and of course ladies) know yesterday i bought a rather splendid SV650 k5 oh my god it is brilliant!
  9. John, I'll put one up later when I'm on my laptop and not my iPod, wasn't a massive increase as such, just feels loads Smoother through acceleration and tonnes easier to start.
  10. Mountain bike pump works fine grouch, just use one with a pressure gauge
  11. Just passed my theory test first time! Massively happy, just though I'd let you guys know
  12. Noise, i think my parents would appreciate the fish tank aha! my dad has a fairly huge one and it's his pride and joy! Ken, i was looking for anything really, just found a couple on gumtree for about £100, don't really mind about making a profit on it, just something to fiddle with in my free periods at college (and it'll help towards my grades) i did see a couple that you mentioned and they look pretty awesome! Thanks for all your suggestions
  13. I would love to get a 125 crosser or something like that... But as I still live with my parents.. They don't want a full size bike and bits lying around, so a pit bike would be a compromise, also I can just chuck it in the back of a car rather than having to organise transport to get it anywhere. Thanks for your opinions though
  14. Yuhuh, friend that lives up the road owns a few acres of fields and wooded area, although if I get it looking good I'm not sure if i'll want to get it muddy!
