Hi guys, So, I was riding along today when all lights (dash too) just stopped working, I thought it was the fuse, changed it no good, so started checking the wiring, I've got power into and out of the ignition but was struggling to trace the wires from there. I'm really stuck tbh, any help would be much appreciated

Im sure they could sort you brake, gear, clutch levers, handle bars, bolt kits and lots more too..........if you've got deep pockets lol

Do you have a motorcross shop local to you? On my last dt I had blue aluminum footpegs, just took my bike to my local mx shop and the guy sorted me a set to fit, cant remember what they were off so just try doing the same

So have u checked gearbox oil?

Have you checked the kill switch and side stand wires......my kill switch wire had a brake in the casing when I got the bike and it kept earthing causing the bike to cut out, if your kill switch or side stand cable is constantly earthed the bike won't spark

Me and my friend both have DTX's I have a dep system he has big one and I leave him for dead....think it must be something to do with the back pressure I think

That's what I thought to be honest blackhat but I've never had to touch a mixture screw before so hadn't got a clue what to do with it lol I quite liked the Black Country comment Mark but I could see others taking it the wrong way...........oh we'll you can't please them all lol

Its running sweet as a nut now, thanks for the help, plugs a nice chocolatey brown and air filters only a couple of months old, I used castrol air filter oil on it (the really sticky stuff) and its still like brand new

Thanks Nev, just adjusted the mixture screw and it was set about 2 1/4 turns out so I brought it out 1 1/2 as u said and it ran way better so I took it for a run and it still kept trying to die, then I turned it back in 1/4 of a turn and it seems nice now, just gotta check the plug colour. I tried adjusting the mixture a little but didn't want to mess too much as I don't know which way to turn to make it more lean lol

Hi guys I recently changed the main jet on my dt ( up from a 230 to a 250) now it doesn't like to idle it runs for 5-10seconds then cuts out like its flooding. It runs fine if I keep revving it Does the main jet affect the idle? Any help would be much appreciated Wade

Hi all New to all this forum stuff but had some great advice off this site and just thought its about time I introduced myself I'm wade, I love all things 2 wheeled and currently have a dt 125r sm

There's a four pin connecting block with four wires going in and only three coming out, the one that doesn't go to anything should be black with a green line down it, clip this wire off and connect it to the frame

It's the black wire with a green line on it
