try cleaning the jets in the carb,

hopefuly lol, we have cleaned the carb and tried other things but its still doing it. should get it sorted

yep but it has a problem, the engine will not start if its warmed up

Could the problem really be that simple lol, we have had the carb out to clean and done loads of other things as well, i will be changing that soon then hopefuly it works, thanks for the reply mate

I have just recieved a yamaha sr125 from my dad, it runs fine but once its been running and you turn off the engine, you cannot turn it back on untill its cooled down. when my dad owned it, if he stopped to feul up, he had to wait for it to cool down and sometimes if the bike stalled, he had to walk it home. does anyone know what the problem is, thanks for any help! hey, i have recently been given a 2002 yamaha sr125 from my dad due to him getting a new one!
