I've always wanted to get up there and grab myself a R1. I went to the local showroom yesterday for a look around, they was nice enough to switch a sexy Leo vince modified one on and give it a few revs - such a great sound that goes right through you

Hi everyone Just wondering if anyone local or near to Ipswich is fancying any local weekend ride outs when the weather is nice? We could meet at the local bike showroom (Orwells Motorcycles) where even the staff are keen to want to ride out and not miss that urge to pop a wheelie coming out of those gates! Ride out locations would be debatable, many places to choose from, although I mainly know of Felixstowe as I haven't been around here that long. Let me know, would be great to get out! -S

I got a XJ6 for my first big bike too, I think it's a great choice to be honest! It rides great and I got a good week taste of the full power before getting it restricted (Dealers didn't know it was meant to be) but I think it's got some good power to it, not quite a R6 despite having a older model of it's engine slightly de-tuned - but I've heard the R6 is no where near as comfy on these nice long ride outs anyway All i've changed on my XJ6 so far is a new tinted screen and bright Xenon bulbs, looking into getting the tail tidy and some blinkers soon Keep us updated on your bike, would love to see some pics!
