Great work mate..very well done. I never bought into 2 smokes when I was young, but reading all the RD stuff on here, I feel I've missed out
-
stupid boy.......hahahahahahahahahaha

and you'll drop your top speed down to about 50-55mph

Fantastic indeed mate...well done. In the 2nd or 3rd pic, I liked the way your bike ducked when the blue motor went by

Well done getting back on the road mate. I would agree that you are comparing the brakes and clutch with modern bikes. I have an auld 59 speedtwin and the front brake is absolutely crap. I had it apart about 3 or 4 times before I realised I was comparing it to my modern bikes

Alright matey. Have a look here cmsl to check out the part numbers of the 2000 and 2006 models, that will tell you if it will fit (may still fit if numbers are different, but you'd need to ask).

or even a Manx

Hi and welcome to the forum. Make sure you change your oil regularly and, I don't know if it was specific to my boys bike, but using the bike over winter meant I had to remove the rear brake cam to clean it up and copper grease it

The guy John Young, joined this forum a wee while ago when the video of his pulse jet moped was posted, did it on his 1970s Triumph Trident a couple of years ago
-
Unfortunately not kev. It went with the bike

Dont worry dt, If you have a full licence (which you do), in your home country. you can ride a bike that meets the conditions of your licence here. i.e. unlimited cc over there, any bike over here. So get your sorry ass into gear and get yourself over. Give us plenty of notice that way we can all have a burn up together
-
Well bugger me, thats my boys auld bike that is. Here it is (was) from the other side
-
Yip, as Kev says you are more than likely to have blocked jets. You don't mention cleaning the carbs, so I would start with that. I would also fit in-line fuel filters to prevent any small rust particles clogging it up again
-
Well Done Bipps, you'll be signing up for the US version next
-
This weekend I'm heading up to Portsoy/Banff for my pals 50th birthday. Wife and the 2 youngest coming so no bike this weekend I'm afraid.
