Unless she pops in here to read this

You dont need to get it to them. Contact them to say it wont start and the battery is duff. Tell them to come out to yours...You've only had it a few weeks
-
Contact the dealers. Dont tell them about the light issue, just state you came out this morning and the battery was flat

Good on ye Tommy, well done matey

My auld man was a joiner in the shipyards in the 60s and was diagnosed with asbestosis/pleural plaques in the early 90s. He passed away 2013 aged 83 with an unrelated illness, so chin up mate

My wife reckons I manufacture my own black clouds to follow me around....me I think I bring joy to all the world Edited to point out that on Friday the 20th I will be flying out to Kings Bay in Georgia USA*, so I may see it from the air With work, so wont be much downtime to have

It should be stamped on the frame, under the rubber footmat on the right hand side. This info was easily found by typing XMax service manual into google, but as its frowned upon to post such links you'll have to find it yourself Sect 9.1 of the service manual

Fuck all but a load of blue paint, and using captfs' link, it looks like I'm not missing out on anything

I started doing facebook a few months ago and I found a group 'Bikers 60s 70s photo collection. Some great pics on there. What strikes me is that all over Britain there were groups of mates cutting about, looking like me and my mates, going to the same types of pubs and the same runs out. If any of you do the fb thing look up the group for great memories or an insight into how us auld yins done it back in the day

That phrase described my xs1100 as well

I had a z1000 for about 9 month (my mates' but he was serving a ban, so I got it). Not the same model but I certainly enjoyed it Here we are just arrived on Skye, before they put a bridge there

Bipps, Lally. I was outbid so no requirement for your help, but Thank You, again, for the offers

I know, I had a very slow catch on my xjr1200. Sitting at lights when an ambulance came up behind me with the blues n twos. I went to move over onto the central reservation and must have hit the kerb at the wrong angle pushing the front wheel away causing the bike to tip. I somehow managed to jump off the bike, whilst keeping a hold of it and managed to catch it and swing it upright. My back, shoulders and arms were sore for about a week afterwards

700lbs....Is the fairing made from mild steel, I thought they only (!!!) weighed around 580lbs edit: Looks a bit cheekier than I thought. I only say because I didnt think they were that heavier than my xjr1200 and I remember catching that one day

These bike laws make no god damn sense. I just want my A1!!
jimmy replied to Variomatic's topic in The Bar
I did the same thing. Riding a bike around a field gave me my experience and a month after my 17th birthday I headed up to Glasgow to collect my first bike, an xs250 (great bike, did I tell you about it), anyway a wee chat with the salesman and back in the shop he goes leaving me in the middle of Glasgow city centre on my own on a Friday afternoon. Bearing in mind the only way I had ever visited the place was by train so had no need to learn the road layout.....Scary times indeed. -
Cheers Lall. No its not too late. The auction ends on Friday. If successful I will let you know, if you wouldn't mind picking them up and posting off. Bipps......Thanks for your great offer, but if Lall picks it up it would save you a 100 mile round trip (especially if you're just back from work) If thats OK with you

Great stuff, Bipps. The auction ends on friday, so I'll let you know if I'm successful. Thanks again

Any of you lot live near here. I'm thinking of bidding on a set or rear shocks but the guy will only do pick up. If successful any chance someone could pick them up and post them off to me (obviously with remuneration) Cheers

Only you can put a price on it matey. If you put it on fleabay with a reserve of a figure you're happy with, it will find its level there.
