My boy bought himself a new Yamaha, a FG720S12 Someone made a faux pas with the pricing and he got it at less than half price
  2. Yip, agree with that...The driver was watching the lights in front. Back in the day after coming off the motorway into Glasgow a load of us came to a set of lights at red. Sitting waiting on the lights I shot off in front only to be nearly taken out by a car coming from my right. Yes, I did the same as the driver in that video. In my defence there wasn't much of a distance between the two sets of lights. Luckily no Cops were around, unluckily none of my mates let me forget it for a number of years

As above, a piece of wood under the side stand. For extra peace of mind, once the bike is square, measure and cut two lengths of 2" x 2" coming out at an angle from the bottom yoke to the ground. This will help stabilise it Obviously just for oil changes not for lifting

Seems very steep for a polo, my boy first year on his polo was £500 odd, down to just over £300 now (3rd year on that car) 1st car on your own Insurance Policy, and it's still a 2.8l sports car (some companies can give you a NCD for being on a policy, I know direct line did for my wife when she got her first car) Anyway matey, just done a quote for myself on that car £200.75 with Hastings direct Fully Comp.....sorry

Well there lies the rub I assume a Toyota Supra 3 litre, first car, zero NCD, Points? You need to get realistic matey. A 1.0 Polo or similar for a year or two....or pay the £2.8

Looking for length of time you've had your car licence Use of another car/van When you report the bike accident you may need to phone the Ins company to clarify Funnily enough I've just had to renew both me and the wifes insurance today. We used to have them separated by 6 months then a few years ago we signed up to a multi car policy which brought them together...bad move as they were only cheaper for a year or two before we went onto single policies again Anyway this was the first time I've been asked specifically about my claim free biking with regards to my car policy

When my auldest boy turned 16 we got him a reiju 50 (minarelli engine same as Yam use, so on topic) and at 22 he is still riding. Unfortunately he cannot put a nut in a monkeys mouth because I have done all the maintenance / repairs on the 3 bikes he has owned. My youngest will turn 14 in the summer and I'm thinking of picking up an auld DT 50 (or similar). That way he can help me restore it in time for his 16th and in doing so, pick up a bit of tinkering knowledge. I assume parts are easy to come by, and there would be no rush. Thoughts anyone???

I described my first tat (done by a scratcher in his kitchen whilst his wife made rolls and sliced sausage) as being like a guy plunging a hot knife in my arm and carving a shape in it. Vowed never to do it again, but a month later I was sat there again enjoying the same pain and another roll on slice (but only because I felt unbalanced with just one arm done)
