I would keep the 125, that way getting plenty of practice on a geared bike....I would also keep the v50, stating that now is not a good time to sell a bike. Potter about on it for a few months then get rid, if thats what you want
The plug may not be firing under load so swap over the HT Leads and check what cylinder sparks now. My money would be on the RH Cylinder. Set the kill switch to off and turn it over a few times. Remove the plugs and check if they are wet. I would suggest the RH plug will be and the other dry, indicating a fault with the carb.....Is it a vacuum carb on the bike (my mate had one back in the day, but I cant remember what carbs were fitted)
Well mate, once you put it out there........They have no qualms about hacking the voicemails of murdered children so posting your vid would not even register on their moral compass. Oh and fek the cyclist, give him enough for an eye test
Don't know about 2T but on my twins, if I replace the head gasket, and on auld Triumphs it's almost an annual job, it is recommended re torquing the head after 50 miles and again after 500miles...Possibly not the same on strokers but just saying
That will be the Rotor Luke.
Some family member eh, I take it he doesn't like you.
Is the battery fully charged, I would think it needs charged after lying around outside all winter.
Get that charged, clean the plugs drain the carbs and use fresh petrol and then try it before you pull everything apart
Ahhh, the good old XS250, I owned one for about 3yrs and spent many happy minutes of hassle free riding in those 3 years....Burn It
Seriously matey, I'm with Tommy here, check your points are spotlessly clean and set correctly
A local upholsterer recovered my Triumph seat for £30. He saved the rear panel with the name embossed and sewed that into the new cover. Check out any local guys to yourself. If we don't use them we will lose them
Well, he made it to mine, then I put him on the ferry but his bike was running good and the rain had not caught up with him yet. He should be well into his 3rd or 4th Beer by now
