  3. Yea mate, coming home one evening I took the 'C' road instead of the usual 'B'
  4. I hunted through my pics just to prove it can get busy up here
  5. 4 bikes bud, that is the rush hour......Here's another busy road
  6. There are periods of my bikes life where it doesn't get used for long periods. What I have found is that when I approach my house I will switch the fuel off and run the engine until the carbs are empty. The fuel in the tank remains fresh and the carbs will not get gummed up. I appreciate this may not be able to get done if you have vacuum carbs with no off position on the petrol tap

Don't worry Bud, we're thick skinned....skinned I say, up here.....Helps deal with the midges (that and skin so soft from the Avon Lady)
  14. Alright Buddy If you're thinking of hanging around on the forum (and you should) stick a wee bit up about yourself in the 'Introduction' section. You will get a lot more replies that way

    He's always cross with me
  16. If there was any doubt that God is Scottish, He showed his true colours in the evening sky tonight
  17. Must have been the week for it. I have had a week off work (best weather we've had all summer) and I have been ripping out the old bathroom and helping my mate fit a new one. Almost finished and should see it done today....just watching the weather and fek me raining tomorrow
  18. Bipps Hope you had a great time. For future reference if you order some Avon 'Skin So Soft' (the bluey green bottle) that works better than any midgie repellent stuff on the market. I worked as a dog handler for 14yrs and that SSS is a lifesaver. It doesn't stop them landing on you but they will not bite you with that on I fully understand the demented swinging around of arms etc, I used to swing a dog lead around above my head and shout like a mad thing....but the wee fekkers didn't give a shit

    Project hakka

To be total Ying and Yang, maybe you should give him it back as a gift when you've finished it
  20. If I shut my eyes it reminds me of the time I was attacked by a swarm of wasps for smashing their bike....
  21. 63mph (or 72 downhill on the speedo)

    Tit of a Man

Totally agree Mike, I always give them room when either on the bike or in a car (after all we were all learners at one time). The purpose of this post was showing how quickly the reactionary gap was eaten up when I looked away and those 2 -3 secs were gone
