We're enjoying a great late summer up here so a couple of pics o' me n the boys bike
Oh and Slice, right behind where I took the pics from was a great wee tea hut
There are periods of my bikes life where it doesn't get used for long periods. What I have found is that when I approach my house I will switch the fuel off and run the engine until the carbs are empty. The fuel in the tank remains fresh and the carbs will not get gummed up. I appreciate this may not be able to get done if you have vacuum carbs with no off position on the petrol tap
Ike the only way I found to get around it is by ignoring the 'choose files' part and going down the 'insert other media' then 'insert image from url' This url I have already copied from my photobucket account (suppose other photohosting sites are available
Alright Buddy If you're thinking of hanging around on the forum (and you should) stick a wee bit up about yourself in the 'Introduction' section. You will get a lot more replies that way
Must have been the week for it. I have had a week off work (best weather we've had all summer) and I have been ripping out the old bathroom and helping my mate fit a new one. Almost finished and should see it done today....just watching the weather and fek me raining tomorrow
Bipps Hope you had a great time. For future reference if you order some Avon 'Skin So Soft' (the bluey green bottle) that works better than any midgie repellent stuff on the market. I worked as a dog handler for 14yrs and that SSS is a lifesaver. It doesn't stop them landing on you but they will not bite you with that on I fully understand the demented swinging around of arms etc, I used to swing a dog lead around above my head and shout like a mad thing....but the wee fekkers didn't give a shit
Totally agree Mike, I always give them room when either on the bike or in a car (after all we were all learners at one time). The purpose of this post was showing how quickly the reactionary gap was eaten up when I looked away and those 2 -3 secs were gone
