Thinking about getting this one. Do you guys think that having a silver one would make me noticeably more visible at night?

XVS125 new owner
Hi all I've already introduced myself in the relevant forum but, as a new owner of a XVS125, I thought I'd come and say hello in the customs one.

Crash/engine bars on a XVS125?
Hi all Is it worth installing crash/engine bars to an XVS125? If yes, is there a particular model you would suggest?

Hi all I'm new to biking and need to buy all the gear. First on the list is a helmet. I'm leaning towards an open-face one as it seems to be the best compromise in terms of protection and look for my XVS125. Unless you know of a full-face that wouldn't look out of place while riding this bike I'd appreciate if you could recommend one with good side protection, that looks cool and doesn't break the bank. Thanks in advance.

Thank you, Airhead. Hopefully it will be as good as it looks in the photos when I get it on Thursday. (sorry for the late reply, I did not get the email notification)

Hello from a total newbie :)
Hi all, I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Denis, 48, French and I've been living in England for quite a few years. Apart from having driven 50cc mopeds and scooters (not very recently) I've only driven a geared motorbike once about 30 years ago. As you see I'm quite the newbie. Well, hopefully that'll change soon as I've just purchased a XVS125 and should pass my CBT next week-end. I've joined hoping to gather information and advice about this bike (worthwhile modifications, accessories, maintenance...) and the motorcycling world in general. Hopefully, if and when I get more knowledgeable, I'll be able to return the favours and help too.
