Chain Care
9 Months on a chain? Ouch I generally lube my chain every 300mile and lube and clean it every other time. More-so this time of year due to the dirt and grit.

Sorry Guys...
You could always buy this one in 18 months when ive paid for it and can upgrade to a street triple My mate had an MT-03, interesting bike, but i wasnt keen on the 660 single.

How many of you riders filter/lane split?
I was the same till i kept meeting this guy who would filter past me, so one day i followed him as he seemed the sensible type and i gained confidence through that,

How many of you riders filter/lane split?
Theres a section of the A21 where it goes from 2 lanes to 1, i usually filter then, as theres about 5 foot of space for a few hundred yards, then down to about 2 foot. Never at more than 20mph in wide bits, slowing down to 10-15 in the narrower bits. I never filter to the front of the lights, as thats frowned down upon by the law. Through Maidstone is quite easy though.

Hi All! New biker
Not really worth modding it per se, you wont get much back on it. (Although I strapped a cheapo waterproof watch to the left bar, which was pretty useful, oh and a bike bell, which wasnt so useful). Im down in Marden, near Maidstone. Did my cbt and license with Chris White, mainly near your way. Got my bike from Bowen Moto in Chatham. Not much you can do about the power, maybe strip off the luggage rack or tucking yourself behind the screen..... Good choice on the screen by the way, especially this time of year.

Restricted Licence Bikes
Im on a restricted ER6N. Its restricted via the ECU and a thottle stop. Older bikes can be restricted through the exhaust/carb (i think).
-
Getting pulled over
remember.....''off, off, off'', engine off, off the bike, helmet off.

Your First Bike Adventures...
Im 25 and on a restricted licence. I didnt have the confidence to do the direct access, but wanted to get used to the size and weight of a bigger bike. Pulling away from the showroom for the first time was such an extreme mixture of excitement and nerves, that i dont think will ever be beat.
-
Your First Bike Adventures...
Im pretty new to the bike scene, did my CBT back in march 2011, bought a brand new Silver YBR125 (GK11 ***), did about 4000 miles in it, did my test back in May 2012 and bought myself a 2012 ER6-N, done about 2000 miles so far. Oh i did buy an RXS100 about 6 years ago to do up, but lost interest/time/money for it and sold it.

mod 2 last minute tips
Just remember that, unlike a car examiner, a bike examiner was a BIKER first (a special breed of people not just a cager) and an examiner second, so he's making sure that people who ride safely are the ones that pass. Good luck! Hope this helped.

My first bike, a little scared at first but love it now.

- Sorry Guys...

I allowed the red mist in....... oops
On my way home today i was sticking to the 30 limit, a bint in a KA who has been tailing me for a few miles decides to overtake on a brow of a hill....Ah look a set of road works traffic lights! Pulled up behind her, bike in neutral, proceded to clap for her, then filtered past back to the front. Beautiful.

accident whilst training
When i did my cbt i had to sign a waiver to declare that im resposible for my own actions while on the road. Were they meant to have an auto/scooter?
-
Worst drivers on the road!
I ended up in a ditch because of a 4x4 overtaking some horses on a single lane bridge. The 4x4 driver was nice enough to come back and help me out, but the horse riders couldnt give a fuck and rode on. So horse riders are on my list now, along with people who are distracted with mobile phones/make up/the radio/their hair/the kids and finally OAP's who have no sense of awareness.
