Carb to head rubbers
Hi, I know this has been talked about before, and they are in short supply, but I have a Dragstar that runs off one carb to 2 cylinders. Its carb to head rubber that splits off into 2 has split in the middle, giving it a leak, it was ok for a bit but now wont even start, obvs I need a new rubber.. Question is, I've scowered the wasteland and Ive found some for the virago, but they aint that clear on what it will fit, so, will the viragos carb to head rubber fit the Dragstar? If so I'll be able to get my bike running Thanks in advance.

Any new Cruiser 125s being made still?
He wouldnt have it, I had a long argument with him, he lied about loads of stuff, but I'd rather keep the bike now, I'm gunna bring it back to its prime and get it on the road.

Ordered an XVS 125cc
Ive reccived a bit more info from the dealer, he spoke to the previous owner and apparently its had services.... but not by mechanics, I dont have a kick start so I tested compression by pushing it in gear, I can only push it past one pistons compression stroke then its too much pressure so I guess its not fecked :/ As for the large amounts of rust, ive smeared it in grease all over, and the scratches will remain until I replace exhausts. The intake manifold can be replaced I guess, I'll just have to find one... hopefully my fanatic ways for maintainence and care will keep it together. I think its been tipped over from being still, and its been ridden in the rain a few times, other than that its got 12k milage and is like any other. I get pessimistic when getting new things When I should be happy

Main Test
I'd rather just have Karen Gillan, she'll get me there, if you know what I mean I'm afraid I'm a noob, I aint got any real licence to be honest, thats why I'd rather stay on CBT and look kool with a bike in summer.... lol

Ybr125 maintenance Help!!
Oil lube depends on the chain, some have rubber o rings or something wierd... I use whatever I have, they reccomend this sticky stuff for actual chains but I hate it, all it does is stop fling, but its stickyness grabs a tonne of dirt, its not the best lube either. If you can heat a grease to a liquid then apply that after a long ride so the chain is warm, that lasts. They say the wetter the better as it gets under the rollers and everything, only problem is it has to be done regulary and it flings. I use ordinary thick oil, after a long ride, then I give it a wipe and a quick blast to get rid of fling, then clean whatever has flung off.

Main Test
Hi all, Thinking about shedding these 125s... and going straight through my main test. I am unsure as what it consists of, one guy told me its harder than a car test, and another told me it was as easy as the CBT. I know there are two modules, is module 1 the CBT and module 2 the main stuff? Do you have lessons like car or do you just go through it like CBTs? I am under the impression its about 800 quid to go through, but someone told me he had lessons and it cost over 1000 pound all together. Pretty clueless, I had a look on google and at all this .gov.co.uk shit and its balls... Has anyone who has done it all got any reccomendations for it or a walk through? Thanks

Any new Cruiser 125s being made still?
I've had bad luck with searching for good 125 cruisers, the 4 main japanese makes seem not to make them anymore, and the ones still about are either high milage or rusted beyond belief, I've found brand new chinese bikes, but people always say they are crap, but at least you can start as you mean to go on. I can buy a chinese bike brand new for a nice price, I can keep it greased up and try to avoid rain, I can break it in myself, change the oil as I like and keep it at good scratch. I had a huoniao that lasted me, until I took my exhausts off for like the 10th time and ended up migrating some thread holes and bending some stuff by over tightening I cant afford to restore a used japanese bike up to a near new standard.... I have a thing about buying things like a "pride and joy bike" brand new.. So this is why I wondered if any of you guys/gals know of any good make that still churns them off the factory line. Thanks for the help in advance.

Ordered an XVS 125cc
LOL I get ya, I've got a letter written out for the dealer, he told me it was great condition with no scratches and faults. Its got a crack in the intake manifold, rust everywhere, and scratches, its service records indicate it wasnt touched for 12,000 miles....... no oil changes no nothing.... Coupled with the rust and crack, fecking up the mixture, I wonder what condition the insides are in.... dare not think about it... its off back, and its the last time I buy something without viewing it. I will be loosing out on courier fees, but I had no choice, I couldnt get there to view it and it was the only good bike I could find, I love bikes, and hate cars.... I suppose I could get it restored fully, but at what price... I'm doing this because the dealer thought an honest question deserved a BS answer.. excersizing rights and shit... Moving on to another vehicle... does anyone know any bikes/cruisers that are similar that are still being made new?

Ordered an XVS 125cc
Ive noticed my bike is laden with rust, its got paint flaking off everywhere and all the heat fins are scaley.. Is anyone elses xvs rusty, I was always told that rust is the silent killer, and if left will see you flying down the road on your ass, is it worth getting a complete restore done? Seems to me like everything these days is made of steel.. why not stainless steel I dont know...

Ordered an XVS 125cc
I'll end up putting Motul 300v 10w-40 in it, with a ZDDP additive in, for the tappets and to boost the Zinc/Phosphorous level in the oil. I'll put SI-1 Fuel treatment in it to clean out the engine, and then there on I'll monitor rust areas and engine smoothness, may add power mods after that, and then maybe upgrade a few parts.

USING YOUR HELMET
I nod, common amongst race bikes, cruiser guys tend to ignore you or raise their hand, I'm on a cruiser, I try not to ignore people.

Ordered an XVS 125cc
Cheers for the info, yeah, it came today, spotted a bit of rust here and there... and there... ..but it looks cool, I noticed the rear engine cylinders exhausts is like a fake, the front has a fat chrome exhaust whereas the rear has a chrome plate over it with a tattly looking pipe behind it. Whats the deal with that? is it stock? Dont understand why they would give the front a cool exhaust and then give the rear the middle finger. Also, the booklet reccomends 15w-50 for oil, but Ive heard every other source say 10w-40, is the 15-50 for higher cc's or is it truely what the 125 needs? Thanks all

Diet advice
fat titties? isnt that what tats are made of? I prefer my woman to come with boobs, and a nice rounded figure, not fat, but smooth and curvy. Rather that than get my dick stripped of its skin in some lass that cant help but stab me in the ribs and balls with all those jagged edges. Be like havin it off with a yew tree branch.

Beef with a Dealer
Cheerz for your input, yeah, I've paid, I should hear from him today, I'll mention it first, if he declines, I might just ask for a refund, see if he back peddles... If he dont, then hes never gunna accept it, and may aswell ask for the bike to be sent, if I can review the site somewhere, I'll give it bad feedback. Other than that, I still need the bike.

Beef with a Dealer
Righto, will try that out, if he declines, then what can I do, he didn't actually delcare he would pay, but yeah I could have found my own. I will Screen Shot it, but what do I do with the SS if he declines, he could worm out of any accusation.
