Servicing
Speaking of DIY (and not to hijack your thread Grouch), but what do you folks recommend for service manuals? Now that my warranty is up (and I can't seem to trust the shops around here ), I'm going to start servicing my bolt myself. I'm looking at a couple of options, but was wondering if you guys (and gals) can steer me in the right direction... should I go with something like the cd-rom or the paper copy? Is one better than the other? Apologies if this has been asked before (Honest, I did search, but couldn't find anything).

Wow Bippo! You are adventurous! It's wonderful the dog gets to go with you on adventures... and helps carry the load. LOL Our boy is scared of water. Not sure why as he was a year old when we got him, but we were barely able to get him into the lake when we went camping (which he also wasn't a fan of). :/ He is my hubby's boy in that sense. Very beautiful dogs too Bippo!

Beautiful looking dog! After losing our last dog, hubby and I swore we'd not go through that again... but we fostered this little darling and fell in love. After a year now, he's definitely our little man. They fill your heart while they're here for sure.

Crash helmet security?
My helmet has the D links too, but I don't have a helmet lock on my bike... so I either carry it around, leave it on the bike if it'll be in plain sight or I use a gun lock (I got for free) to lock it to the luggage rack. I hope never to find egg (or spit) in my helmet or that someone knows how easily they can break the cable of the gun lock.
