Sure... that works for you.... guess she'll just have to take care of herself, eh?
  4. Welcome Dave! Sounds like you got a great deal... since you're willing to put in the time and money to get at least one bike back in shape.

    Very nice looking bike. Congrats!
  6. Tip #1 from me is to introduce yourself in the new member section to let the folks here know who you are. I take it the kickstart is totally seized. Could be that the kickstart gears are seized or the engine itself is (I think).

Did a search and didn't see it posted so I hope I'm not double posting... Just thought it was funny. Sometimes wish I'd have been as smart as Bubbles. He knew exactly what to say before accepting a marriage proposal... [media=]

LMAO! Cat's a scrapper too.... did you see those ears?
  9. I can't tell where you are on my phone, but the guys on here have mentioned yambits, eBay (naturally), and I use a place in the states called NW Vintage. A google search should bring them up. You should post pics of your bike when you introduce yourself I'd like to see her.
  10. Hi Coleton_jl. You may have better luck here if you post an intro in the new members section so we know who we're talking to. when you say you've tried everything... what's everything? Before replacing my battery I had electrical issues (dim lights, etc.). May need a little more info.

Doesn't that mean you've gotta at least do something first to get her damp or are y'all just looking for any sweaty spot?! (I know ew)

I'm inclined to agree... attention to detail can make all the difference. +1

LMAO! That's terrible! And here I thought my comments were inappropriate.
  19. Glad you got it sorted. That'd be a real pisser to get a bike and not be able to get it in.
  20. Sacha replied to Matthew Duncan's post in a topic in The Bar
I'll be glad to when I get it... course I will be clothed. Ha!

Welcome Rae! That's a very nice first bike... definitely bigger than my first street bike. The folks on here are very kind and knowledgeable. Plus there's so much information to browse on here... a virtual cornucopia. : D
  24. Welcome Olly! Beautiful bike you have there... Looks like a lot of fun to ride.
  25. I bring my bike (and my husband's bigger bike) through a regular house door in the back of our garage. We have to turn the handlebars to get them through, but it's not too difficult... just takes a little maneuvering. Hope it works out well for you. if nothing else maybe you can do like Airhead suggests and widen the gate?
