Welcome Dave! Sounds like you got a great deal... since you're willing to put in the time and money to get at least one bike back in shape.

Postie bike kickstart wont move.
Tip #1 from me is to introduce yourself in the new member section to let the folks here know who you are. I take it the kickstart is totally seized. Could be that the kickstart gears are seized or the engine itself is (I think).

marriage disclaimer...
Did a search and didn't see it posted so I hope I'm not double posting... Just thought it was funny. Sometimes wish I'd have been as smart as Bubbles. He knew exactly what to say before accepting a marriage proposal... [media=]

what is the best website for purchasing parts for my 1978 enduro?
I can't tell where you are on my phone, but the guys on here have mentioned yambits, eBay (naturally), and I use a place in the states called NW Vintage. A google search should bring them up. You should post pics of your bike when you introduce yourself I'd like to see her.

1978 Enduro 175 electrical issues
Hi Coleton_jl. You may have better luck here if you post an intro in the new members section so we know who we're talking to. when you say you've tried everything... what's everything? Before replacing my battery I had electrical issues (dim lights, etc.). May need a little more info.

XVS 950 will if fit through my gate ?
I bring my bike (and my husband's bigger bike) through a regular house door in the back of our garage. We have to turn the handlebars to get them through, but it's not too difficult... just takes a little maneuvering. Hope it works out well for you. if nothing else maybe you can do like Airhead suggests and widen the gate?
