good luck on finding the twat but as was said contact local garages and give them the details you never know you might get them yet

i just had a great weekend with ma new bike and was reading this and came to 1 conclusion eazyduz you've never rode an xvs 650 have you?? trust me the draggie accelerates a whole lot faster and can cruise quicker than the top speed of a xv535 and when cruising at speed you dont hear the engine whining as its going flat out seriously easyduz take an xvs for a spin and change your feelings for the 535

2006 125 DT RE rode with choke on first day :'(, total noob
gizmo666 replied to rjw99's topic in Yamaha Workshop
sounds to me as if the fuel cock maybe getting left on or problem with the float valve possible "flooding" of the carb or has the choke line screwed up when you manage to get it started will the bike start up again ok if you turn it off then start again or does this problem only occur AFTER bikes been standing a while -

you'll find on most searchs for xvs parts the 97 is never mentioned the years seem to start from 98 onwards not to worry this was only because in 98 the classic came out and thay had to differentiate between the both classic and custom the parts for a 98 custom will fit a 97 custom as there is no difference whatsoever
-
sadly they dont do anything for the xvs looks like it will be the gemini exhaust again
