ugly number plate
If you don't want to be pulled then your option is to stick with a legal one. At the end of the day we all have to have them so your bike looks no worse than any one else's. Also your insurance will look at the slightest illegal thing to back out of a claim if you need to, its just not worth the hassle.

Alloy and steel don't mix
Range Rover tailgates used to suffer the same.

Look out for other drivers, pedestrians and seagulls.
Years ago, I was riding home on my Honda 250N from Northampton to Market Harborough after finishing a night shift at about 4am and I had to actually stop because there was a owl flying down the centre of the road about 3 foot of the ground, just cruising along.

From my last fill up I am now up to 122 miles, and still not had to switch to reserve yet. XVS650 Classic, the riding has all been A roads and around town.

Excessive petrol use?
Yup, I have stopped arguing the different fuel thing as no one believes me, had it on the Subaru forums when I had a Legacy, its all produced to the same British Standard so is the same, the only difference is the additive packs. The basic kaboom from it will be the same.

What a MUPPET!!!
Yup, found the two bolts on the side stand of my Draggy loose last week, even though they have a nylon insert on the other end.

Too Hot For Comfort
I have a HG Textile jacket, with the liner out and the vents open its not too bad, but can't believe the number of riders in shorts etc. I work opposite a MOT garage and literally two minutes ago someone has just arrived on a sports bike weathering shorts, vest, trainers & helmet.

my insurenace has become stupidly expensive?
Unfortunately its the minority that spoils it for others, there are a few young drivers on our area in small cars like Corsa's and 106's that drive like idiots in 30mph zones, there are also a few older ones as well but insurance companies assume they don't drive like that.

Carying a pillion without pillion insurance cover.
As far as I am aware and from reading here https://www.gov.uk/rules-motorcyclists-83-to-88/motorcycle-licence-requirements you can not carry a pillion until you have passed your test. Not sure what the old rules were as I passed my test when I was 17 (33 years ago) so the only time I couldn't have a pillion was the year I spent with my old FS1E before I took my test.

ma new ride
:-) Wifes ruddy handbag takes up one saddlebag, we both work in offices so a change of clothing, 2 x pack up lunch (cuz we are tight)... Saddlebags are not very big, got them from fleabay and they weren't as advertised, no where near as big as they were supposed to be, not leather as advertised and the seller disappeared when I went to complain, so stuck with them for now.

Sacha, that had me in tears.... Superb.

ma new ride
I would but unfortunately with the amount of stuff I have to take into work each day I need them, a rucksack on its own isn't enough and as the wife works in the same town and isn't allowed to drive anymore I also have a pillion, so not much room for other luggage.

ma new ride
Nice, and welcome back to the Dragstar club, with the screen and panniers included you have a well good deal, I have the soft panniers on mine (crap ones from Ebay), yours look to be leather? Only thing I miss with the soft ones is some form of lock.

Tennis elbow
I had Tennis elbow last year, it eventually sorted its self after 3-4 months, I used a Velcro strap thing with a pressure point that you put on your forearm, seemed to help, but its time that does the real healing... Keep at it.. Got a ruddy trapped nerve in my neck now.

Carying a pillion without pillion insurance cover.
I think the obvious reason meant is because the majority of 125 riders are still on L plates so are not legally allowed a pillion.

Urgent: Dragstar Owners!!!
Mmmm, I wonder, is this likely to be just mileage related or aged related as well... My Drag is a 1998 but it only has 6,000 miles on it, and from the state of the chrome and documents it looks to have been treated well and been off the road most winters before I got it.
