  1. Its a case of making time, like I said earlier you don't need long sessions, just regular, my guitars are kept out on a stand so that they are always to hand, so you can just pick one up, you don't have to plug an electric in either just to practice.
  2. Mmmm, looking at your wheel and the result you have got I would say you have not got the hub to rim laced correctly, I used to build mountain bike wheels and its so easy to be one hole out and not realise until you go to tighten the whole thing up. Did you take a picky before you took it apart?
  3. Yup condensation, like an oven in the summer, and T leafs with tin openers.... A decent wooden shed on a concrete base with ground anchors probably a better bet.
  4. I spray the ACF50 into its lid then apply with a brush and rag, more control over where it goes.
  5. An hour a day would be good, but its not easy to find time like that. Personally I found that even 10 minutes a day is better than nothing and I found it more important to practise every day rather than not practising because I couldn't fit in a longer time.
  6. Revenge is a dish best served cold. Lose the anger and get cunning. Either rig the bag so you have evidence that he is doing it, or as already said some form of lock to stop it, although ideally the evidence route is the best option so that you can take action against him. If you are within earshot of the bag you can get small movement alarms for garden sheds reasonably cheaply that you may be able to rig up, or you can also get padlocks with a built in alarm.
  7. Me too, both Electric & Acoustic, also dabble in Keyboards
  8. That would also make a good security device, just take the cables with you when you park.
  9. Yup, sprouts are for life, not just for Christmas
  10. On some of my old classic cars I used metal joiners that had screws that clamped the two ends of the cables, a bit like giant chock block connectors but without the plastic. I think they may have been called armoured cable connectors.

I don't mind the Viggies, had a go on one before I got me Star, but as I am 6'1" I found the Star more comfortable.
  12. Just don't blather any of that ACF50 near the brakes :-)
  13. Those bolts look like bonnet pins, used to have them on my old Triumph GT6 when I used to do classic car racing.
  14. That's the finger of envy, had it a few times my self.
  15. Hi, Welcome, My Draggy 650 is called Dillon, so you can't have that :-) How about Dougie Dragstar.
  16. Yeah I remember seeing that as well, just checked companies house and a new company was formed last year called HEIN GERICKE MOTORCYCLE EQUIPMENT UK LIMITED, so could have been a management buyout or something after they went bust.
  17. My personal choice with tyres is to always put on the size the bike manufacturers recommend as the bike has been designed from the ground up for those tyres.
  18. Looks like it could be good fun, unfortunately for me being mid week and the location, it would cost me more in loss of earnings, travelling and accommodation than the prize is worth.
  19. Suppose its no real surprise that the temp drops fairly quickly once the throttle is rolled off, no big fiery bangs happening in the combustion chamber so less heat generated, also proves the cooling fins are doing their job.
  20. Messing with the clocks is just a pain in the arse, can the government come to my house and explain to our dogs what has happened so that they stay asleep for an extra hour, I would imagine people have the same problem with young sprogs. Will take around 3 weeks for them to settle back down to the hours again. And so what its a bit lighter in the morning, just gets darker earlier in the evening so we gain what?
  21. Are you going to blow your death star pumpkin up at the end of your party? Also I can never understand why people go to all the trouble with carving pumpkins just because its my birthday on the 31st
  22. Don't take offence at this but from your other thread where you are popping wheelies and now this, maybe you should slow down a bit until you gain more experience. Yes if you leaned the bike a bit more you may have got round, but you also run the risk of loosing it, it looked like you were just going to fast for that turn. Happy riding.... And as you managed to come out of it ok....
  23. Are you sure it's not just the fuel pump priming?
  24. Very good nigel Jb1 I work for a company called AMC (UK) Fasteners Ltd in Corby, we used to be in Market Harborough but moved the business to Corby about ten years ago, we make steel Nuts (for bolts etc.).
  25. Looks good, and I can see your airbrush in the first picture. What paint did you use? I have 4 airbrushes that I use for modelling, its surprising what you can achieve with them.
