Cheers dude, well id love to say yes but sadly i have a kid and wife and mortgage already so not wanting a second set ha ha, im also a novice at it but just look at pics on google and get a feel for things i like then have a quick read of how its done then get cracking with it. The joys of doing a bobber is that you just take off all the bits that arn't needed and turn it into some thing different. Good luck with the painting but think you should tell her that your sick and need to go in the shed to take your tablets and get cracking on the bike (she wont notice your gone)

Just do what i do........................ride it, dont wash it! loads more fun! and a dirty bike means um it actually gets used as a bike not a pin up doll in a wank mag but if you REALLY want to wash it, washing up liquid, paint brush on the greasy bits (spokes will take wire wool to come up nice)

was the rear wheel aligned properly? if the wheel wasn't straight then this could have been the cause of it popping off as the chain would have not been going over the sproket properly

Well here are the new bits i bought at the jumble sale at Haynes yesterday, both need some modification to get to fit but should look good once done. Still not 100% sure on the fuel tank yet tho, ive taken the bike off the stand and sat on it to see how it feels, and i feels great on there! nice a thin but when im off the bike im still not sold on it but it maybe becasue im still in my shed and cant stand back and look at it fully. Honda CB160 tank And a Yamaha Head light guard i got for a fiver!

What time did you get there Merv? i was there at 10 but had to leave about 12 ish as the little one was getting grumpy as she was over tiered and fed up with me telling her to not put her lolly on the cars and bikes ha ha.

Yer I went, was a good day, bit windy but once in doors it was nice, didnt get many pics as was busy keeping my daughters sticky hands off the cars n bikes. Got a new fuel tank and head light gaurd for the bike and got a little horny over a 1978 chevy split window corvette very sexy, and to top it off iI got to sit on a borough superior.

Going to be a whole new colour and little trick bits here and there, just bought a new Fuel Tank today but not to sure on it at the mo. Sounds like a good plan with the 250 motor! Will you need to change the wiring loom and cdi as well?

Just waiting on some cases to be powder coated then I can finish my engine off, I had to buy a new crank, con rods and big ends, new oil pump and gasket set as I had a knocking from the front as well which was due to lack of oil ha ha. Mine wont be on the road till mid to late next year tho as doing crap loads of modifications.
