If your going on a long ride maybe try some leg stretches, i tend to get groin pain when riding my bike due to a back injury and stretching helps that before i ride. best to do it in doors tho as you look like your about to pole vualt over the bike if your doing it next to it ha ha

'ey up guys, well its coming close to me sorting out me exhausts for the bobber and im in two minds (as usual) and was wanting your thoughts. im re doing them and as you know im all about old skool useing bits thrown out or making do with what ive got. Now here is what im thinking, shall i go with the standard looking short shotgun look? or short pipes with slash cuts? or short with 90 degree kick outs? Now i aint got the cash to splash out on fancy pipes that Joe Blogg can buy so sadly a set of one off's is out the question but what ive got in the man cave can make me one of these three options. What would you have? Much love as normal

Been out in the man cave a few nights this week and so fair ive mounted the fuel tank, fucked up the chain sissy bar so need to buy more chain and start again and painted two engine cases. quite happy with the way they came out as they look perfectly imperfect. (pics to follow when i get home from work) So just need to seal the tank and paint it, then i can get the frame and swing are powder coated alond with the rims and hubs along with new spokes just dont know if i should get stainless spokes or gloss black spokes. All is running smoothly so far.

Best to get your finger out and change the chain and sprokets, after that if its still doing the same then its onto changing the wheel bearings. Best getting these done soon as do you really want a rear wheel lock up at 70-80mph (110-130KPH)?

Yer gotta do it as they stuck a massive lable on the tank saying its gotta be done before paint, all they have done is coat it in oil in side to stop rusting. tasted horrid when i was blowing inside it to see if i can hear/feel air coming out my welds ha ha (happy to say its all good)

Hey folks, Well my fuel tank is nearly ready and now i just need to seal it so that it can hold petrol, then i can get it ready for paint. Has anyone used Kreem 3 part selant before? and anyone know if there is any where you can get it cheeper than £55? so far e-bay is the chepest, i know if you cheep out, you get what you paid for but every little helps and all that. Cheers
  12. Its been done and dose look good, i was planning on doing it with my bobber but then started looking into it and it got very pricey. There is a firm in Germany that sell a bigger rim, and there are firms that sell bigger ones that need new swing arms etc but your looking at about £1500-£2000 for it, then there is the price of a new 230 tyre and hunting one down and getting it fitted. Here is that German site http://www.motorrad-burchard.de/pages/produkte_en.php4?produktwahl=felgen6.00x15XVS650dragstar

Make sure your pretty darn straight before giving it the pull. Seen so many guys and gals land with a wonky wheel and there pride and joy bouncing down the road. At 0.08 secs in your vid you just see your wheel turn slightly left just before lift off. Just take care. Keep it up
  15. Im up for a go on the TT on Betty, be a cracking laugh, but yes think it would just be a sprint to the pub for a deep whisky and sit and watch the Pro's do it
  16. Classic shocks are the same as the custom. both the same bike just with different shapped mud gaurds and sized front wheel. So in theory they will be the same price. Ive just welded a plate over that big gaping hole where the crud gets to the shock so im hoping this has solved this issue happening to my bike

  19. Give the thing its due, as Tasky said if the 125 Draggy is so shit how come Robs bike being a bag of crap when he bought it still managed 70mph? which as we have all proved and argued over IS the maximum speed of a 125cc motorcycle.

Yer ill never be as good as Larry he was a God in the world of One off bikes! Roland again what you said they are works of art. Simple bikes are the best, all the extras you can get like screens are high way pegs just clutter up the bike and ruin the lines
  22. Job done id say!
  23. God i hope to see a come back to this one.
  24. Tapping from the bottom of the piston is most likely big end bearings gone. (what happened to my bike) only way to find out whats gone is to take off the barrel grab hold of the con rod and pull it up and down, if it moves and clunks then you need new bearings / shells depending what they have, also if the bikes been running with shagged bearings for too long you may have done damage to the crank shaft and either need a new one or get the old one re ground with new shells
