  1. Put petrol in it, stick Fuel cap on, turn on Fuel valve and add a naked flame, should blow the rust right off. No shaking like a twat just make sure you have a damp towel to hand if things start to get hot.
  2. I've just done my Fuel Tank using Kreem, three parts. Part A is to clean out rust and crud bad rust requires nuts, stones or chain to help remove rust. Part B cleans out the water and any excess crap and then you have theFuel Tank sealer. Cost £55 but sounds like the cola truck well Work just rinse out with lots of water.

    Betty bit me!!!

I do actually need a new cage with more seats as the wife is telling me to get rid of my mr2. But doubt my little girls Car seat well fit the rear seats of the FTO as they dip in where your ass goes.

Well here is how she's stands now. Nice and safe on a wheelie board. How about a nice super short exhaust? Now fixed again after an stint in the cave last night And I got my kreem delivered this morning so I can finally seal the tank and get it painted. And here is the front brake cylinder all nice and black.
  5. Cracking builds there mate. how long did it take to knock one of them out?
  6. Cheers for that mate, i just thought paint was paint ha ha. Looks like a very busy forum that! LOADS of sections to look through.

    Betty bit me!!!

Yer i was always tempting fate really but hey ho we all do some stupid stuff now and then. But yer at least i now dont have to lift her off. Bit painful this morning as my trousers feel like sand paper and changing gear in the cage was a tad tender. Airhead that does look tender ha ha.

    Betty bit me!!!

Well I'm gutted, was just out in the shed doing some bits and bobs and generally tidying up when I bumped into betty and she went down, catching my thigh on the way. Thankfully nothing is broken bar one of my piss poor weldings on the exhaust and the floor as the foot peg buried its self into it. Here's a fresh pic of my leg it's about 8-9 inches if you wanna know bippo and sash, and the cut is about 7 inches. Gunna have a very nice bruise in the coming days.
  9. Well she ain't missed it yet, only time well tell. If you don't hear from me in the next 48 hrs your know it was her new one

  12. Just buy a set of after market ones mate. Or £16.50 from Wemoto http://www.wemoto.com/bikes/yamaha/xvs_125_dragstar/00-04/
  13. Are you taking it to a garage to get it done or are you doing it your self? its not that much of a hard job and can be don ewith billy basic tools and a stand made out of the finest red neck material you can get your hands on. If you take it to a Garage id say your be looking at close on £100 with parts, labour and the Del boy back hander. but if you do it your self youd be looking at half of that and a damn good excuse to get away from the wife for half the day. You will be looking at needing: Spark Plugs = £10-£20 Oil = £40 (depending where you go?) Oil Filter = £10 Air filter = £10-£20?? Or you can go down the route i did which looks like this: Crank, Con rods and Big ends = £650 Gaskets = £177 Oil Pump = £35 Oil = £45 Oil Filter = £15 Gasket selant = £15 for three tubes And 5 months of rebuilding the pissing engine from start to finish. The hardest part of doing a service your self is catching every drop of warm / hot Oil into the catch can as soon as the bolt is removed, and remembering not to kick it when your doing the spark plugs or drop your brand new air filter in it.

Got some parts coming in for betty hopefully today consistion on Kreem and a new crank breather filter. will be nipping off to Halfrauds tonight to get some more paint and wire so as that i can finish off the controls. Front wheel has gone off to Talon to be doubley trued up and tightend and will be picking it up on Friday costing a grand total of £20. Next will be rear mudguard, speedo, sissy bar, warning light indicator, Indicators, Exhaust wrap, Petrol and T&T
  15. Only a small crappy one but im chuffed to nuts with it as these aint easy to come by at the moment. My brother managed to get hold of a 1:72 scale Challenger 2 MBT model kit to build Ive not built an airfix model in years so gotta see if ive still got any bits up in the loft but im not optermistic due to the moving in of the other half 6 years ago and her compulstion to remove any man den item. Here is the little baby which will soon take pride possition on my desk at work Ive already started to put down the base colour green and last night i painted the tyres on the wheels and guide rollers, and fould one of the wifes old make up brushes and trimmed the brissels to paint the metal work on the tracks.
  16. If they dont fit they just get a different set of risers. im guessing that the standard XJ^ bars are 7/8th and these fat bars will be about 1" thickso you will need new risers. Also the left hand grip will be glued on so steal the wifes hair dryer to sofen it up
  17. Just ride a bit slower then. Give your self more time to react to things.

I was technically a Tank crewman but in my section I was the better driver as I could master driving diagonally across the bumps then just at the peak of the hill/bump I'd hard turn it to make a smoother ride plus made us a harder target. Made the gunner work a bit tho ha ha. Betty it's still on the stand as couldn't get anyone over to help lift her off, so I started her up in stead which pissed the wife off as she's very loud and spits flames like a monster :-D
  19. HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! you obviously do not no Kev He sits out side Weight watchers not KFC But i guess your one of those cunts that screem their little 125cc bike up and down the roads to try and impress the little school girls?
  20. I have light sensitive eyes (i think) i get blinded near enough every morning and night due to knob heads in modern cars that have stupid lights, i tend to just look just above the car or to where the kerb should be and slow down. I never hit the brakes i just ease off the gas and once im happy i can see better which i normally in a matter of seconds i get going again. Thing is most cages these days have automatic light adjustment, plus automatic every fucking thing else, and the nut behind the wheel cant be tossed to make sure they are working correctly (as Ttasky said) most folk think that they can just stick the key it and go 365 days a year but in reality i think the modern cars need more looking after that a car from the late 80's - late 90's i have a 1997 Toyota MR2 and all i have to do is throw some 710 down its neck and some 99Ron fuel and she's happy. and Kev...............................your a twat
  21. prob best if you shoot over to the Noob section and introduce your self first buddy. Tell us about your self DONT ask for help in that part of the forum.

Sorry Tommy, do forgive me Work is just becoming a bit of a twatter at the moment. lets just say its not fun. On a good note tho Betty is coming off that work mate this Friday, the front wheel is going away to be tourqued up and i can finish doing the wiring in the handle bars and i going to fire her up again as its fooking cold in the shed and it will do her good to get some warm lube splattered on her insides.
