    Punctuation.

Capital letters mean the difference of you helping your Uncle Jack off a horse and You helping your uncle jack off a horse.

Yer it was a decal but stuck it on sprayed over it with primer then black peeled off the decal, sanded it down and gave it 4 coats of clear. Not 100% perfect but that's what I want, a posh rat bike type thing. Cheers RZ, just want the pissing thing back on the road now, there is only a certain amount of times you can sit on a bike and go BBBBBRRRRRR BBBRRRUUUMMM!!!! Till men in white suits come to admit you for long term care ha ha
  5. Now up to 9514. Agreed that 2 years for murder (or manslaughter what ever you wanna call it Mr Judge) is about as good as blowing on an oil rig fire! but saying that looks like all the Judges and Lawyers time and effort is still going on the Jimmy Savvel cases so they probably couldn't make much money on this case.

R U alrite, sound like u b gettin mad bro. U not feelin da luv. i know what you mean mate, it bugs the shit out of me too. All this LOL and PMSL or IIRC etc etc. yes granted when it cost you 10p per text messag and you wanted to say a lot then i could sort of see the point in making words shorter but in reality if they really wanted to say so much well why not just phone them? Ok im think as shit when it comes to reading and writting but i still know how to write (sort of) but some people do it all the time and play the dyslexic card far too much, yes your dyslexic but how about try to speak / write properly you window licking love muck slinger.

Looks very nice! What's the plans for it then?
  9. The short shots won't need to be bolted at the rear as they are....... Well um.... Short ha ha. Won't even reach to the rear mounting points

Yer just a bit late with that tip dt ha ha. Sorted out one set of controls last night and it's always the last write that's the hardest to pull isn't it. Na using two different color writes but also writing down what I've done in the notes section in the Haynes Manuel to give the next owner some hints ha ha. Done a little to my rear mud guard too last night.

Well thats it, i officially hate wiring! trying to get the wires though these Z bars prooved to be a pain in the ass, i could get the wire round the first 90 degree bend but i just couldn't make the last turn. I tired every trick in the book, Welding wire, thick electrical wire, thin wire, string, string blown through with compressed air even the odd swear word but nope not having non of it so after two hour on one wire i gave up and had to drill a new hole in the bars so instead of one hole for the wires i now have three but this seams the better way as the first one i driled was going to be way too small for all the wires i had to go through it. So far i've only managed to solder up the horn and the clutch switch which is pritty piss poor for 2 and a half hours work
  12. I'm with you on that one. Not even a slip
  13. well before you buy the seat best to sort out a rear mud gaurd so that the seat and mud guard flow together, dont use seat springs as the mono shock and seat springs gice you a very strange feeling when cornering and hitting bumps. I'd personally go for a new set of handle bars and indicators.
  14. Ah that'll be it, just looked like some wrickle.
  15. Yes the front pipe is a slip on and the rear pipe is just.......well a rear pipe. it maybe slightly bigger than the stock pipe that it slips onto but you could always get a strip of metal to fill the gaps. But i cant see any problems. As for the other things to buy, id say handle bars, but first off do you know what look your wanting? fat beach bum cruiser, nasty twatish bobber or chrome'd out bling bling chopper?
  16. Nothing mate, i have the 2001 model and i was going to get the V&H short Shots too (still will some time soon) and they will fit my bike. What site are you getting them from? if its Metric Crusiers then if they don't fit im 99.9% sure he gives full refunds if you still have the packaging and they are not fooked.
  17. Its still got two wheels chap so your still more than welcome on here, few chaps and chap ets have non Yammy bikes, Bippo has a Triumph, And Tout has a CB500 and some have Suzi's. Stay around and im sure you can still pitch in on chats and give out advice

Yer thats it neversaydie, thats a cracking looking bike! She was far too white back then and really needed to be blacked out a bit..........well maybe a lot. I do like white but not that much white which is the reason for just doing the three parts. Well i definatly know what im doing now and will get some pics up once its done, Mr Pots back in his shed time
  19. Looking smart man, not sure if its the casing or the angle of the pic but has some of the paint wrinkled up? i hate it when it done it on my frame! even tho you clean all the parts you always get that one contaminated bit you miss
  20. Um, im not too sure, never done a compression test my self but if you think about it as the piston draws down it pulls in air like your lungs and asit pushes up the inlet valve shuts thus making an air tight seal (what your testing) and the piston comes back up and compresses the air ready for the big boom. If the butterfly is closed its like having the bike on tick over so your not getting the maximum air in the cylinder so i would guess that the reading on the gauge would be less as the pressure wouldn't be enough to push the needle up the gauge. But i've been wrong before

Yer I've seen the bare metal finish (or un finished) look and I doagree that it will be a smashing look for betty but both front and rear mud guards are plastic so can't get that bare metal finish. Or I could just paint them black and have bare metal Tank with black pin stripe?????? Hmmm, well it's either that or metallic white Tank and mud guards with black pin stripes.
  22. She's coming on lovely man, I really like them stickers, almost tempted to get a sporty bike and street fighter it after reading through these projects as well as rzresurrection.
