Its just a Little thing called VAT, thing is this country has always been about its taxes and why change tradition? yes granted we have some good things out of it as for the NHS but even that is suffering at the moment. The best thing i think the Yanks do is put there road tax in there petrol prices, so if you have no fuel in the car / bike you aint driving it nor using the road so you pay no road tax, simple. Where as we have to pay tax on a flipping Mars bar!!

Got any pics of the problem wires? Have you plugged the wires in that come off the engine? I know the dragster has 3 wires coming out of the left hand side that plugs into the loom. O and yes I'm that drag queen guy that rips into retardgos ha ha.

Yer i would say pull the motor out, as DT says it can be done in the frame but id say you would do a better job of it out of the frame as unless you have the hands of a midget contortionest then id say your have a hard time of it or your end up pinching the new gasket. Good luck with it tho mate.

Well, we all know what happens when you mix foamy + alcohole + Ebay = some thing well last night after drinking a fair bits of whiskey i find out that im now picking up a new project next tuesday Its a little 50cc twist and go and is all in bits, cant remember the make of it but it has all the bits there and a V5, the engine turns over by hand which is a good sign but he cant rememebr when it last run or if its still does. But i did get it for a nice price of £35! So if i can get it running and back together with very little money i could see a nice profit, but if the motor is fooked then im taking it to the scrap yard and should get a bit of profit that way, either way its a win win

You could actually do it in less than 6 hours to be fair, depends how much tea you drink. if you want some snap bags to put nuts and bots in drop me a PM and ill send you up some for bugger all and if your nice ill throw in some post it notes to mark them up with. It really is just a matter of getting good clearance to the motor first, (remove tank etc) un plug the wiring loom but as its just the engine you want out just un plug the wires for that, take carbs off, maybe best to take the wheels and forks out too as this will make removal and insalation 10 times easier, then just un bolt the motor pull it out and dump the new one in and reverse the process. job done
