    V-star 1300 recommended shift points

    so i just bought an 09' Yamaha V-Star 1300 and i love it. My only question is, are the recommended shift points (given in the owners manual) are extreamly low and make it feel like my engine is bogging down. has anyone else noticed this and if so let me know your approximate shift points please! Happy riding.
