Wasnt expecting it to be that hard to take the air filter out and clean it, Im not going too mod the engine, i think it pulls good as it is itll do 85 down hill and about 75 on flat, ive put renthals on mine and it looks great i think, have a look at my pics in the introduction section, Ive just drilled my exhaust is that the mod your reffering too? or is there a better one? i can just about weld lol learnt at college Cheers

if you dont wanna lose your no claims then your best off fixing it yourself, should be easy enough if its only exterior damage, as for the woman in the road its probably not worth reporting as long as you didnt hit her, might be worth just informing your insurance just in case she decides to claim you hit her, you never know these days people will claim anything.

Dont let it put you off, i was hit side on by a car at about 30mph last year it wrote my bike off, i was lucky to walk away with a few stitches, but i got straight back on when i got my next bike, as for damage if you only need indicators and a brake lever go to your local bike shop and buy some get em fitted, how did you come off?

Well ive just finished drilling exhaust, and im glad i did it doesnt seem any louder but it does sound a lot deeper. Now ive just gotta find air filter, anyone got any ideas? I think its under tank but im not certain.

Im tempted to drill exhaust on my bike, its got the same engine/exhaust as the virago will it sound much different? Also anyone know were the air filter is on a sachs roadster 125? Cant find it anywhere, Cheers.

Cheers Barkwind, Im not hold enough for DAS yet got another year to go, so id have to do the mod1 mod2 etc and i havent got a clue how much that would set me back, its a shame its not still the same DT would save me a chunk out of my wallet.

i were just looking at getting a dt125, its like you say though most have been hammered off road, id probably go for a late 90s DT rather than a newer one.

Ive got some nasty looking rust on my downpipes, instead of replacing em im thinking of cleaning off the rust and getting some exhaust wrap off ebay, just wondering what kind of length id be needing? What would you say would be best two stroke to go for, not really bothered about the aprillia rs, wanting somethimg more like the DT.

I didnt diss four strokes lol ive had two, just wanting too try a two stroke this year, ill see what reliabilitys like then ill probably end up going back to four stroke

Had it since september, was bought as a cat d, but theres not that many of em around anymore, shame cause there a lovely bike. Im thinking of selling it soon and going for a two stroke though.
